Had yum cha here on the weekend and it was excellent. Had everything we were looking for- the standard selection of dumplings, dim sum, pork buns and mango pancakes that you would expect. Service was efficient and friendly which is not something you always get at a yum cha restaurant. Really enjoyable experience.
Gets very busy around 12 for Sunday yum cha but if you come early it’s not bad. Yum cha is very good and consistent, service can be sketchy because of how busy they get but all very friendly. Love coming here.
Very good and relatively authentic (I'm Chinese so should know) yum cha with great ambience. It was also not too expensive either given the great ambience.
What sets this place apart from nearby yum chas is that it has pretty good service. Never underestimate this aspect.

Ordered takeaway, which was amazingly fast (10 min pick up), hot and fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful. The beef and vegetables were beautiful and tender, Imperial Chicken crispy and not too over battered, fried rice was simple and cooked well.
If you are expecting authentic Chinese you may be a little disappointed, as most dishes are targeted toward the Ozzie palate. Will have to give their daily yum Cha a go soon!
Always come here for a great chinese meal! Usually come on Monday nights, hence it's rarely busy. Food is a little bit on the pricey size, but it comes with great serving sizes and the staff are always friendly, albeit sometimes hard to understand. The ambiance is lovely and the temperature inside is always at a comfortable level. Would definitely recommend the peking shredded beef as a favourite dish
This place is always busy, with diners waiting for a table but you do not have to wait very long. Food is fresh and its turned over quickly due to how busy it is. Yum cha prices are fair. Prices match the quality.
This is our Number 1 restaurant for YUM CHA as the staff can actually speak English and the service is friendly (our favourite waiter always says "Hello Hello" in a jolly voice). Although I agree it's a bit over-priced compared to other YUM CHA places, they do have a good variety of tasty dim sims available and I never leave without having a classic Mango Pudding . We went once for dinner and the meals were quite ordinary (maybe it was what we ordered but everything turned out to be greasy). We will always go back for YUM CHA as we don't mind paying extra as the food and service is worth it.

This used to be my favourite Yum Cha restaurant (even over HK) for fresh, tasty, authentic Chinese dumplings.
However, I have noticed a change for the worse over the last few years.
While the staff are very accommodating and now much more friendly to Westerners than they were years ago, the Yum Cha items have started to cater much more to what must be thought to be the Western palate, with at least half of the dumpling options now fried!
Think spring rolls, fried prawn wontons with mayonnaise and chicken wings... Unfortunately seeing much less of the 'traditional' Yum Cha options like chicken feet and congee - and much less Chinese patrons now!
Still the best place I've found in the area, but will now be looking around for a new favourite Yum Cha.
The Imperial Peking Restaurant in Blakehurst is a local favourite that has been around for many years. They make the most amazing food and some of our all time favourite dishes are the mud crab, shredded beef, prawn toast and mermaid tresses. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant or across the road.
A suburban Cantonese restaurant that offers yum cha daily in an old-school atmosphere environment that's well laid out in its pagoda design making it quite comfortable to dine in.
Going for yum cha on a weekday lunch, it wasn't that busy (but they had a steady stream of customers) and staff came out regularly with trays of small baskets and plates of classic dim sum. Generally the taste of most dishes was up to scratch with traditional flavours and overall a place I would come back to.
Prices are standard and a little high for the suburban location but they offer 5% off if you pay with cash. Service is good for this type of slightly upmarket suburban Cantonese restaurant.
There's free parking across the street.
The best Yumcha we had in Sydney so far. We ordered some prawn, pork/prawn and vegetable dumplings, egg tart and mango pancakes. We were happy with everything we ordered. The egg tart is a must order dessert, so yummy (but forgot to take a photo). 😋

Good food, nice ambience but very slow service. If you're ok with a leisurely meal, this is a good place but don't come here if you're starving and wanting a quick feed.
We ordered the pork szechuan style (excellent and spicy), the Peking shredded beef (not spicy at all despite being described like that on the menu and was actually very sweet), steamed green vegetables in oyster sauce (Ok but what can you expect from a veggie dish?) and two soups which were pretty good (wuntun soup and combination crab). And then you get the obligatory fortune cookie at the end which is always welcome!
All the locals know this is absolutely the best place for yum cha. This visit wasn't an exception. Everything as usual was fresh, tasty and delicious. Good service too.
