Was surprisingly impressed with this pub.
We sat upstairs and had a lovely area to sit with work colleagues to have a drink. Then we proceeded to have dinner there. The food was great, fresh, warm, tasty and well priced. Good place to pop out to for a quick meal or quiet drinks mid week.

It's a nice place to pop in every now and then for a quick drink with friends and colleagues and they got my favourite cider on tap, the Kopparberg! Easygoing with a nice outside area.

I've been a regular for 2 years and since the change in staff the service has been great - although it was not as bad as the other poster stated! BTW- Back to the good old days of Jugs and Glass Schooners. Food is good and lunch deals are great! New cocktail menus for those that want it...

Great upstairs balcony and good vibe down stairs in the court yard, especially on Friday and Sunday nights. Some sort of raffle most other nights of the week and happy hour til 6 down stairs.

Good service, nice atmosphere. All the bartenders are really friendly and you can even hire half the venue for your group of favourite people.

Lots of different areas with a different mood or feel, great staff. The food is awesome and the lunch deals are really cheap . Security has obviously changed since they are friendly and helpful now. Great vibe in lots of the spaces and guiness on tap downstairs
