At first glance it might look a little tired but the cheery and welcoming staff & quirky setting more than make for a great experience (a big thank you to the lovely Ashley)
The coffee is good (we went back for a 2nd), the steak sandwich although small was large enough to satisfy and the fries and sweet potato wedges were the best!
The 2 deserts (the Raspberry Meringue and Classic Cookies & Cream cheesecake), naughty but ‘oh wow’!
Definitely come back again when we ride through in a couple of months……

I went a while ago, and had a great experience. Food was good and all but when I had a problem the staff were very helpful. In particular Oscar whinspere was very helpful when I ran out of toilet paper. He fetched some fresh stuff quick smart. Great experience, but his jokes are terrible:

Food was really nice. Relatively normal pricing. Nice view of park and inlet.
Only negatives were that there was cartilage still on the flake, on my first bite, but that can and does happen when kitchen portions thier own fish. And some of the salad had been prepped way in advance it seemed as the capsicum was soft and slimy, or it was just getting old.

Absolutely superb meal, the best I've had in (Tassie eaten out a lot). If you're in Bridport, this is a must do but book if holidays are on.
We had Tassie Atlantic salmon and Bridport scallops, both meals were absolutely delicious.
Great food and atmosphere, wonderful service and great selection of wine.
