Haven't been here in ages, but glad I did. Most fish and chips shops are ordinary and lack any zing. This one was surprisingly different. Batter was crispy, hamburgers were made with love and very tasty. Potato cakes were the stand out. Best of all, these guys are cheaper and better than most. Real Value for money!

Hadn't had fish and chips from here in years - since the business changed hands but it seems that the food quality has remained the same. A great place for classic fish and chips. Love the battered and grilled flake. Would recommend.

For those who remember what REAL fish and chips should be like!. These places are becoming harder to find with many fish and chip shops opting to be more fancy and of course much dearer than what I am prepared to pay or actually desire in a chip shop. Jim's has withstood the test of time and offers timeless fish and chips at a fair price. Have tried most things off the menu- flake is done with a crisp batter as are the calamari rings and scallops. The chips and potato cakes are well done and the servings adequate. Have also become a fan of the salad- mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, capsicum with a tasty dressing and lemon on the side. New owners are also friendly and genuine people. Highly recommend this eatery.

After just moving to the area it has been a blessing to finally find Jim's!!! Quality fish and chips for the best price in the area! Not to mention the incredibly wonderful service from start to finish. Safe to say I've found my new local!

Jim, son & family moved on but schooled the new family to pump out the same product, thank God! The best Fish & Chips in the area carries on! 9 out of 10!
