What an amazing place. Service was brilliant. Food was absolutely amazing. 3 of us shared entrees, mains and sides. 2 had dessert. I can’t wait to get there again , would highly recommend
Amazing!! Was just great the four of us are in love. Great service with friendly staff and quick refills. Loved the paneer and roti. Decent priced beers place was packed on a Sunday night. Great Nepalese on a cold winters night.
Loved it, great service and food. Like a brilliant hybrid of Chinese/Indian. Decor a bit dated, but really clean so happy to overlook it. Would come again!

Absolutely loved our selection of take-away curries from Taste of the Himalayas. All 4 curries we ordered were much lighter on the stomach and waistline than many Indian curries can be. Also enjoyed some momo's for entree (lovely Nepalese dumplings) and some very thin flat bread with spices grilled onto it. Truly can't complain - all the guests were very impressed reporting that Nepalese curries are more wonderful than imagined! I was also very impressed with how helpful staff were over the phone about selecting meals with allergies. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice too but only dropped in to pick up and take-away so can't comment much on eating in. I will be back on my next Adelaide trip.
We weren't sure when we first walked in as the décor was a little basic. My advice is to look past this. We found the service to be impeccable and the food tasty, full of fresh ingredients and nicely presented.
Our group of 4 attended for a New Years Eve celebration before heading off to watch the Fireworks. We all started with the Himalayan Shared Platter of traditional Nepalese dishes served with a spiced tomato and sesame seed achar & a mint and yoghurt dip. We were presented with individual servings of a combination of Sekuwa (a small portion of roasted chicken infused with fresh herbs and ground traditional spices, laced with lemon, mustard oil, ginger and garlic), Samosa (a crispy pastry with a savory vegetable filling comprising of spiced potato, onion, peas and spring onions, all combined with fresh garlic, ginger and a hint of coriander), Tare Ko Machha (a small piece of Barramundi seasoned with a subtle hint of ground aromatic spices, coated with seasoned batter and deep fried. This dish is served with a side salad and a tomato and timbur dipping sauce and Momo (a little chicken dumpling).
The Barramundi was a unanimous favorite. For mains we shared a combination of Himalayan Spicey Chicken - Tender diced chicken breast marinated in traditional Nepalese spices, skewered with onion, grilled tomato, and capsicum, presented on the hot sizzler and served with a side dish of yogurt and mint sauce. Pole Ko Hans -Sizzling tender duck marinated with traditional Nepali spices, garnished with fresh coriander and presented sliced on the sizzler. This dish is accompanied with a home style Nepalese tamarind dipping sauce. We also tried the Daal Bhaat Tarkari - a traditional Nepalese vegetarian platter combining rice, lentil and mixed vegetable curry, stir fried spinach and tomato acha. Himalayan Aloo - Pan fried potato seasoned with cumin, ginger, garlic and turmeric to enhance the flavour and create a typical Himalayan side dish. We accompanied our meal with Roti as well as steamed rice and Bhut Ko Bhat - Nepalese style rice cooked and fried with red onion, finely sliced green beans and carrots, garnished with toasted cashew nuts. Finally we shared an Aap for dessert between all 4 as they kindly supplied us enough spoons so that we could all have a taste of this delicious mango infused dessert enhanced with a crisp coating and centered with a cointreau filled chocolate ball. If we had known how good this was going to be we would all have definitely left room for this outstanding dessert to enjoy one each. The staff were very attentive and made sure everything was okay with us. After a great meal we left with our tummies full and wandered down to the beach and watched the Fireworks ring in the New Year.
Enjoyed a fantastic and authentic meal here. Everything was delicious but the duck was stand out spectacular. The service was attentive and helpful and the ambience was relaxed and welcoming. We will definitely be back.
Some of the nicest Asian in the southern Adelaide region. Went ala carte on the Sunday (instead of the buffet which looked a little crass). Really quite impressed with the quality of their version of vegetarian thali. Goat thali also quite good. Definitely worth a shot!
Very Nice - I recommend. The food was excellent at lunch today. Service was great - very personable and for me that's how it should be. The butter chicken is a sensation. I'll be back.
Namaste. Without a doubt the best Nepalese in Adelaide. Just finished a banquet here and every dish was fantastic. Barely had room for desert but opted for the Aag and was blown away. Best dessert i have ever eaten. Food was superb, service was fast and friendly and atmosphere was great. This is my new favorite.
