Walked in this morning on a whim and had a Baykers sandwich and a cappuccino to go. Friendly staff and great food, I'm happy to see this new local businesses providing good food and service.

Really love this place, Always pop in for a Chai matcha or a hot chocolate, always good and fast service. So many yummy gluten free options both fresh and frozen

I quickly popped in to get some lunch before work - and I was impressed.
The Coffee was affordable and delicious, whilst the chicken schnitzel focaccia was amazing.
I definitely recommend this cute bakery/cafe to anyone near Gardenvale Station.

Lovely bread!!! If I am running on time, I'll pop in after work to buy some bread. It's always fresh and fluffy on the inside. Great for toasting and / or accompanying a soup dish.
Their Turkish bread is also very tasty. My partner has tried their 'Baykers Roll,' which he highly rated! Very fresh ingredients and well constructed.I'll definitely return to try their desserts sometime soon as well!

Ok I'm going to split the scoring. I want to be narky & give 1 for service and 5 for food.

Slow boat to China comes to mind. Young inexperienced staff which is becoming more common these days understandably as the food business is not easy on profits these days. Very friendly but oblivious to timing. It was very quiet so that was not the reason.

Ok rant over.

The roast vegie roti which I had grilled was delicious. Bought a ferrero rocher slice & chocolate fudge in their own little boxes were so wonderfully chocolatey thank you. Also grabbed an iced chocolate.

I think I need to try Baykers on a week day & see if the service is any different. I'm a stickler for good service.

This cafe does great chai lattes and has the most amazing selection of pies, cakes, biscuits and bread. Staff are really friendly and can't wait to try their wagon wheel and brownie slice. Highly recommend this place.

Twinkle Toes

Amazing custom made birthday cakes! Sarah (resident pastry chef) was happy to meet with us to talk thru what we we wanted for our birthday cake. From what we saw, Sarah can make any cake, in any design and in any size - as this cake was designed by a 4 yo boy!!!! Sarah had some great sample cakes on display also. We took home a Funfetti Cake with Popping Candy, but loved this Ninja cake she had just made!

Located in Martin st in Brighton, right near the train station. They have really friendly and informative staff who answer questions about ingredients etc. Their stuff is made at their main bakery in Mentone and then delivered by truck in the morning. Coffees are really cheap at $3! They have slices on sale for $5, their danishes are $3, and their pies are (a bit expensive but delicious) at $7. Give them a go!

I have been here a few times now - the coffee is excellent - cakes and slices to die for and are as good as I have had anywhere - the staff are always friendly and helpful - great addition to the neighbourhood IMHO - sure, there's no bread but you can buy it anywhere.

Fab coffees at $3 is not the only reason to visit this place. The latest (and best) bakery / cafe on Martin Street with an assortment of pastries, pies cakes and freshly made toasties for $6. My kids loved their birthday cakes - my son designed his own cake and it was AMAZING! Friends were so jealous ;) Can't recommend this place anymore - try it yourself !
