we ordered the mixed entree (to share), masaman curry and chicken/vegetable stir fry. All four items on the mixed entree were delicious with authentic Thai flavours and the mains were also very good. Service was helpful and friendly. This is top shelf Thai food and we will go back anytime.
Mid week dinner. Pleasant staff and we didn't have to book. Extensive menu, we had cashew chicken and beef massaman curry. Both meals were beautiful and the beef was so tender. Will definitely be back.
We noticed this restaurant recently in our locality. Decided to try it out for dinner. It was a Sat night & they were busy despite being rather late in the evening. No wonder the food was just beautiful! Typical home style Thai cooking, the tom yum soup deliciously sour & hot packed with vegetables. My vegetarian pad thai was just bang on , all those delicious spices blending together subtlety. Star dish was the partner's pork, three large mounds melted in the mouth very quickly!
Came here with a friend for dinner on Sunday night. Friendly, quick service, even though it was getting busy with dine in and takeaway orders. Chicken larb was nice - not overly spicy. Lotus chips are amazing. Some interesting options on the menu, including quinoa... Highly recommend.
Looking for a casual locally online located Banana Leaf. It was sat night BUSY staff v friendly menu comphrensive food excellent would return
Every new place I travel, I get drunken noodle. Hands down, this restaurant has the best drunken noodle I've ever eaten. The wait staff is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed but smart, and the food is just like the home cookin you'd get in Thailand. :)
Whenever my partner & I are craving Thai and are out of Brisbane, we will wait until we return home as nowhere else compares to this place. We have gotten takeaway from Banana leaf every 1-2 months for the last 2 years & wish we knew about them earlier!
We have never been disappointed with the food & service and would rate 5/5 every time. My partner & I are usually too lazy to review restaurant's - but you guys deserve a big thank you for always being consistent with your food & friendly service!
I had some veggie spring rolls and the tofu pad Thai - both were good but not incredible.
They seemed to have a lot of uber eats orders which took priority over the customers in the restaurant so the service was a little bit slow but the waiters were really nice.
A nice first meal in brisbane :)
In a marketplace where bland Thai is of the standard, this venue is the exception to the rule. I've had takeaway from here before and was impressed. Has been awhile and decided to go here on a whim.
Ordered the Thai Green Curry (Chicken) and a Thai Basil Beef. Both ordered as "Thai Hot" in spice. Do not disappoint. The herbs and the freshness of everything was fanatic. They also did not skimp on the chilli. Very spicy, but good.
Highly recommended if you are fresh and flavoursome Thai cuisine with the traditional and other contemporary dishes.

We ordered two entrees, three mains and one dessert:
-soft tofu with chilli reduction paste: the cold soft tofu matches nicely with the aromatic chilli/garlic paste.
-tom yum gong (prawn): the soup served to us at room temperature, which was quite unacceptable, but after we told them I think they just pop it into the microwave to heat it up.
-Panang curry with tofu: not the usual strong flavoured Thai curry, which are usually too sweet/salty. They seem to have found the right balance to make a good curry.
-spicy fried mixed rice with tofu: good texture from the mixture of different rice, not too oily as well.
-zucchini and carrot pad Thai: I personally ordered this just out of curiosity if the zoodle is a good substitute for normal rice noodle. I would still prefer normal pad Thai.
-taro custard cake: LOVE the dessert! The glutinous black rice, whisper coconut cream and the cake goes very well! Not too sweet and hits the right spot😋
Overall this is my favourite Thai place, as the flavour is there without being too heavy in salt/oil, especially sugar (which is usually the case for Thai cuisine). Their menu offer quite a few healthier options, which is a rare find for Thai restaurants.
Waitresses were very friendly and genuine in their service.
Apart from the room temperature soup, everything was close to perfect.
What can I say? Probably the best Thai restaurant in Brisbane! Seriously good food Not only that service is spot on too. Could not fault anything & this is second visit. This visit my order was a prawn dish, lots of fat succulent prawns in a spicy sauce with vegetables in a rich coconut sauce just beautiful, what more can I say ? Thanks guys we will be back!!
The Satay Skewers were both delicious and tender.
Recommend the Panang Curry. I wasn't wild about the Pad Thai but it was tasty
Great food and well priced, warm and welcoming service( we were served by Charlotte, very friendly and sweet🙂), sitting area is a bit crowded but overall experience is very great, highly recommended 👍
Banana Leaf serves some amazing Thai food. Our favourites are the Tom Yum Prawns and the Pad Thai. The flavours of the Tom Yum are divine, and I love that it captures sourness so perfectly. We have always had our meals as take away from here, and the whole process from ordering to picking up has been smooth with no mishaps. We'll definitely keep coming back for the Tom Yum soup.
One of our go-to when craving for good quality Thai food in a cosy spot. The food is pretty good quality and the flavours are there. We especially love the fact that, you can opt for more ‘premum’ protein options like grilled chicken tights, wagyu beef, and free-range chicken.
I love the food, good price and excellent quality. The service is amazing. It is the perfect place for a relaxing dinner with perfect flavours.
The coconut rice, chicken Basil and drunken noodles are the best plates
It was a good experience, delicious food and we got good customer service
