Aug2020. Rated 3.5. Went here for an early Sunday dinner with the partner. We had made a table reservation ahead of time via email.
With plates designed to be shared, we ordered the: Patatas Bravas, Panchovetta, Ceviche Del Dia (bright and refreshing), Torreznos (crispy pork) and Paleta Iberico De Bellota (delicious although smaller portioned than expected).
Friendly and reasonably efficient service. Reasonable prices. Casual ambience with indoor and outdoor seating available. Fun cocktail menu available.
Overall, a nice dinner experience, however missing the authenticity of Spanish cuisine.
The lamb is tasteless. Seafood rice is ok

We were trying to find a spot for dinner and wandered around south bank. We decided to checkout this spot. They had a bit of line up but invited us to chill out at the bar and cleared up tables pretty quickly. We ordered the seafood paella for two which was delicious. The rice was moist, well cooked with an array of flavours from the seafood and vegetables.
We enjoyed it throughly and would definitely recommend it!
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Among the overpriced, underwhelming, touristy restaurants in South Bank, this is a standout. The seafood paella was excellent, as was the selection of cured meats, cheeses etc. This is one of the few places around here that I'll look forward to returning to.
Wah wah wee wah !!! What a place to sit back have a san miguel and some beautiful tapas. Had the swordfish, cured meats, tuna, calamari and octopus all were lovely. Little steep but for the location and quality its fair enough, treat yourself also the sangrias were great

Ole has become one of my favourite dinner spots. Right in the heart of Southbank it serves up delicious fresh tapas and homemade sangria in a variety of flavours. My favourite is the pumpkin spice. There are also plenty of vegetarian options!
I have never been impressed by tapas, but Ole is capable of a pretty good spread. I've had a variety of dishes and they all rank above average, which is further bumped up by the better than average customer service and decent drink list. The prices accurately reflect the quality of food, making this a great place to drink and snack on the south bank!
Delicious! I have returned to Ole a few times due to the great environment, sangria jugs and great food they have to offer. Great place to start your night off with food and a drink.
Thanks Ole
Olé, Bravo. Es muy bueno. Really. You should go. Great food, great service, and reasonably priced for Southbank. The croquetas were awesome. The calamari was tender and perfectly cooked. The anchovy, blue cheese, and mint on toast was pleasantly tastier than expected. Topped it off with paella and a bottle of Verdelho
Ole was recommended by a friend who absolutely loves it, and there is a lot to love. The location, service and above all the food.
I came with two friends and we opted for their seafood platter, which was on their daily specials menu. It was perfectly sized for three and we did not need to order anything more. We started with natural oysters and then platters came, accompanied by potatoes and a yummy green salad. Highly recommended, in all respects!
So glad that this restaurant is still as good as I remember from my visit years ago. Al fresco dining in the summer heat was fine because the drinks were cold. The food was delicious. Thinking about the paella makes my mouth water as I am writing this review. The service was friendly and warm. Really nice.
Great food, tasty but basic presentation. All cooked perfectly including jackfruit skewer which is interesting and tasty. Friendly and quick service. Clean and well maintained. Located in the prime location of Southbank which is fantastic. It’s great place but not fantastic, esp when compared to similar priced restaurant in prime location. Still highly recommended! :)

Food is absolutely amazing.
The only problem is because it was my first time experience in this restaurant and we not familiar with the Spanish menu, so I feel like my husband and I ordered three appetizer...🤣
However those three dishes are delicious. We also like the watermelon-lime flavor mocktail here, (a little sour). We like the warm service here, we like the background music here. We will definitely come back again, highly recommended restaurant, worth a try.
PS: must try Calamari!
My experience with Ole is mixed, i have been there a few times now, and while i like the food, i haven't been wowed. The seafood paella while packed with seafood lacked flavour in the overall dish. The octopus was cooked beautifully.
Ola is a great tapas restaurant. The food was tasty, some of the portion sizes were lacking but nothing to score them down on. The negatives would be the chairs were quite hard and uncomfortable and waitresses were almost too responsive and were pestering us at one point asking for our order. I enjoyed the coconut lychee sangria and my table enjoyed sharing the paella and tapas and would love to come back again one day.
Great Spanish restaurant located in Brisbane city centre. Authentic paella and cocktails. The chilli margarita was very delicious..! Food is very tasty and looks amazing. Be warned that Quantity is small and prices are $$$. But worth it.
Great spot when the markets are on, good options for tapas plates, iberico jamon, and paella. The tapas plates are small as you'd expect, with the lamb skewer plates being 2 small skewers which end up being $8 each so quite expensive. The mocktails were all excellent, especially the 'What She's Having' watermelon one. And you can never go wrong with a Sangria, I wish I'd bought a jug!
First time came celebration for our 2022 Chinese year Night. First time try the Italian seafood fry rice. Very delicious, tasty, fresh. I am chef as well, totally recommend this delicious fry rice. Well done. Team. Thanks
