I’m here on holiday and thought I’d try out the yellow curry it was very delicious also the coconut rice is so creamy and moist I also enjoyed the entree which was spring rolls and satay chicken skewers they were tasty highly recommend this place.
I stay in a place where a lot of ducks roam around our property. That gets me salivating and restless. Yes, you might call me inhuman but who doesn't love an amazing array of crispy duck cooked with delicious Thai flavour? Especially when they are cooked the way Thai Tamarind does it...
I have been there twice and both of them were bhig occassion dinners which was actually a very nerve wracking seeing that a bad dinner would ruin my guest's mood.
Therefore, I'm glad I chose Thai Tamarind. The smiling faces of the hosts and the ladies who served us lightened up the entire restaurant. It might be small but it is cozy in its own way. It might be a tiny restaurant but it has enough room for happiness and comfort food.
If you want to experience Thailand in Brisbane, you should run down to Thai Tamarind. It's not only for the food, it's for the experience.

The chicken satay sticks here are amazing. The peanut sauce (generous serving every time) blows my mind! Friendly service and the restaurant has good ambience
By far the best Thai restaurant I have ever found. Have dined here on multiple occasions now and am constantly blown away by all their dishes. These guys honestly take thai cuisine to another level...the food is authentic, ingredients are fresh and flavours are sensational. Desserts and coffee are also outstanding. Overall, the ambiance is very welcoming and staff are so lovely and attentive. They have also started doing a thai style breakfast which is super yummy! Cannot fault this place in anyway, a MUST try!

Peter (the owner) is also a coffee enthusiast so I can only imagine the coffee will also be phenomenal.

Veeeery good Thai food! It's seriously deliciously especially the chicken Penang, deep fried ice cream (which they make their own unique way) and the fried banana chocolate pastries are to die for 🔥 service is also friendly and professional,

A great newfound place to get good local Thai. Went here with a couple of people about 20 minutes before the place was suppose to close so ups to them for providing us service out of hours.
We got the usual, yellow and green curries with pad thai and stirfry which were all great. Only let down was the entree some deep fried sea scallops were pretty sad, tasted only of the batter on the outside.
Other than that they provide great service, takeaway containers when you cannot finish the massive portions and great staple Thai cuisine.
Highly recommend if you like Thai food, will be here again I am sure.
My new favourite place!! Have been here 3 days in a row, the desert is just unbelievably addictive, the Penang chicken is so tasty with perfectly balanced flavours - with coconut rice it's perfection 👍👍😊

Outstanding resturant with tasty and fresh Thai dishes and great service, especially from Rebecca. We loved everything we had (though didn't get all the pics). Highly recommend.
Well, what a very pleasant surprise. This will easily become our go to place for Thai. The food is very good and fresh. Everything seemed to be cooked to order and presented well. The staff are very good. They helped out when we had a slight medical issue (daughter lost a tooth).

Fabulous Pad Thai! I have had the vegetable pad Thai twice and unlike most restaurants, this one is filled with fresh veggies and tastes delicious. Plus the portion size is enough for two meals. Yum.
