Been here a few times and consistent, never sub standard and never brilliant. Always good quality fresh seafood. Staff always friendly. Good indoor and outdoor settings. A place to be your regular fish and chip shop. Fresh seafood is always good quality.
This is my local fish and chippy, they do more than just fish chips, as you can see from my pic. They do a pretty good fish Bao aswell. Not on the menu but they will do it if you ask. Great service and the food comes quickly.
I order from here on UberEATS quite often. The food is always up to standard. The size of the crumbed prawn surprised me! The oyster was also delicious. Would highly recommend.
Have been coming here for some time. The freshest seafood I've come across. Oysters, bugs and prawns are exceptional. Great chips. Disappointed their $15 prawn bucket (which used to have about 30 prawns in it) has been replaced with a prawn salad-type thing, but still tasty. Bugs very well cooked, wouldn't mind a non-grilled version though. salmon was cooked unevenly very tough on outside yet medium on the inside. Not the cheapest but worth it in my opinion. Service is usually great, however this particular visit was very abrupt and impatient. This is my go to, a great spot and great atmosphere, do recommend
Not a bad place for a seafood meal. The poke was tasty and hard to find elsewhere in Brisbane but the portion size was tiny for the price.
The best seafood going around. Always fresh. From their fresh prawns, oysters and bugs, to their large variety of cooked seafood. They always look after me.
We had come to this place since the prices on the menu is reasonable and decided to order a cold seafood platter and a bowl of sweet potato chips. The oysters were super fresh and and the shrimps are too. The octopus were seasoned just right. The sweet potato chips were freshly fried and it was in thick cuts and seasoned nicely as well. Would definitely come again
Great place to get some fresh seafood. To dine in or take home. They just recently up dated their menu and added some nice options like bao's and fish burgers. Tasting pretty nice on the brioche buns. :)
Pretty solid offerings but a few things to iron out. Some friends and I got some take-away here and I'm not sure if it's under new management in the last few months. New seating and vibe is much more upmarket that they fishmonger / takeaway it's been for the past 8 years. The burgers are pretty decent as you can see from the photos. My one complaint is that the beef burger patty is a bit too mealy. Maybe cut back on some of that hamburger helper. I usually get the fish burger and get them to put a piece of grilled wild coral trout instead of the usual fish. Makes for a not-to-be missed burger! But this time I had the crab tacos ... they need a bit of improvement. The amount of crab was excellent, but the crab was overpowered by the dressing mixed in. Need to reduce that dressing ratio. The hard shell tacos weren't that great ... a bit like if you get "Old el Paso" from the super market and don't put them in the oven to toast up first.

I really liked their simple seafood baskets/sets and the variety of different seafood selection. Oysters (Tasmanian or Pacific), fisherman's basket, and morton bay bugs (if available) were always a "must" every time I visit. Definitely something different within the complex of restaurants.
