Really really like the burgers, the cheese burgers are the best, also you should try the loaded fries, spicy and yummy. The good things are there are not a lot of things on the menu, they are good at what they do with a good focus. I always go there.
This was the first burger joint i tried in brisbane, nice juicy burger really fresh ingredient, mine had jalapeno in it which was the special burger they were doing at that time. Really a 4.5 but leaning towards better half of 4.5 so 5 it is.

I’m a burger fiend and will eat Ben’s Burgers about 1-2 x week (mostly from ubereats, sometimes I’ll eat in). I’ve tried most burger joints in Brisbane city but this is hands down my absolute fav!
I’m super traditional with my burger preferences, I like American style burgers with a beef patty, cheese, tomato, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato sauce, mustard and mayo... so Bens’ Classic option is basically my ideal burger in real life. In fact, I’m such a fan that I haven’t branched out and tried any of their other options!
If you’re eating in, they have cool, causal surrounds with really good hip hop music... last time I was there my boyfriend was happy because they were playing NBA on TV... Great burgers, great music and NBA, what more could you want? (In my BF’s opinion lol)
The meat patties are juicy, a good size and seasoned and cooked perfectly. Their milk buns which soft, fluffy with just the right amount of chewiness.
They use the classic American sauces, American cheese and have a good arrange of drinks, my favourite being the peanut butter chocolate thickshake and housemade cherry cola. If you’re eating in they have a selection of beer and spiced rum but no wine.
FYI if you’re picky, like having lots of options or like fancy-schmancy non traditional burgers, this is not the place for you. There are no alterations and there are only three burger choices + 1 monthly burger special. But what Ben’s lack in options they well and truly make up for in quality. This is the place to go if you want a bloody delicious American style burger.
Went for a weekend in Brisbane for a friends wedding so thought I would finally try the famed ben’s burgers. To put it simply it didn’t disappoint.
On order: classic burger, fries and side of special sauce
I had a bite of the classic and it was good but something was definitely lacking to bring it all together. I added the special sauce and wow.
This was one tasty burger! Patty was moist juicy and cooked a perfect medium rare, the bun was one of the best I’ve tasted.
Overall bens burgers deserves the 5 stars only negative I would give is there isn’t one in Melbourne!
One of the best shakes I’ve had in Brisbane (and I drink a lot of shakes) I was even pleasantly surprised when the milkshake was pretty much a thickshake. Nice area and decor, although the location is a little hard to find. Nice crispy chips and the burgers are juicy (I do understand why they have the no ingredient changes policy although I do think they might miss business because of it) Nice staff and overall a nice little hang out.
Very decent burgers (well cooled meat patties and just simple which ain't a bad thing) here but just a bit on the small side. I would prefer a bigger burger considering what you are paying. That prevents it from getting more than a 4 from me! That said, one of the better burger joints in Brissie!

We're regulars here now. Tried the best and keep coming back to Ben's Burgers and that includes places like in n out and shake shack. Great patties, love the special sauce and the chili fries are so meaty! Both locations and each visit has been consistent with the food!
We love Ben's and visit about once a week for a burger fix and it never disappoints. The burgers are fricken amazing, the best I've ever had, anywhere, ever. We head down hoping the queue isn't too long and get our usual order of a couple of classics, some chips to share and a couple of cokes and wait excitedly. Both inside and outside seating are nice. The staff are usually friendly and it always looks like they're having fun, which is nice. Always a very pleasant/funky atmosphere.
A 'must visit' if you're in the Valley!
Best burgers in brisbane, testes like an authentic American burger. By far better than burger urge, grilled, and miel container. I recommend getting the cheesy burger well done. The chicken burger is also very good but not as filling. The chilli fries and shakes are are also authentic.
Delicious burger and chips. Service was friendly. Sat in the laneway with our two dogs. Water was brought out for the dogs. Met the local Winn Lane dog. Very friendly. Environment was relaxed. Just what I needed.
I did not know this place would be so yum, but it waS. The choc peanut butter milkshake was awesome my friend really vibed it. The burgers were awesome. Yassified brisbane the girlies give it a 10/10 on the slay scale. You made a couple of queens very happy 🙂 my friend had chilli fries and said they were a religious experience like the Vatican church but brisbane in a minced meat form.

Definitely worth the travel.
Modest range of burgers on their menu - the ingredients are fresh, good quality, reasonably sized and priced. Tucked away in a seeming alleyway that is surrounded by other vibey stores. The burgers itself - sauces lean towards the tart side and the size of their burgers could be bigger given the price point. Not a bad feed overall; and parking is challenging around the area.
I was a bit concerned due to some other comments about burger sizes but they were well sized and I was very full by the end of my meal. (and I am a solid lad) Amazing burger with perfect amount of sauce. Very friendly staff. If the weather is bad I would avoid this venue as the majority of seating is outdoors. But on a pleasant evening like the one I visited it was awesome.
İt's the little things like the staff remembering my allergies, even when I'm too boat legged to do so myself. It's these types of interactions that make a place as awesome to visit as this one. These staff are some cool cats dude.
Oh, flavour balanced burgers that aren't oily, win win.
As far as burger joints go. Ben's ticks all the boxes. Good quality burger and chips. Fast, efficient and friendly service. Location is a bit random.
