Nice dumplings that are tasty and filling

Came here on a Tuesday for their $1 dumpling deal. The place is small but efficient, turnaround is fast and staff are kept busy by the steady stream of customers lining up to get their dumpling fix. The vibe is casual and unpretentious- exactly how I prefer my dining experiences to be.
Taste wise, the dumplings were not as rich or savoury as other dumpling places, however at $1 per dumpling, it’s hard to find fault in them.
I tried this place out for lunch on the $1 dumpling Tuesday deal they have going. Its not easy for me to try dumplings, you want to know why? Im 110kg 4% body fat human wrecking machine that has no time to eat small. So when i went in i ordered 3 of every dumpling and a pork bun (needed to hit my macros as earlier that day i benched 200kg for 4 sets of 9). I really enjoyed the dumplings. They were small but what dumpling isnt small considering my hands are as big as thanos's. The pork bun was delicious but maybe a little more pork in the bun (thats what she said) for next time. I always love coming here for lunch whenever I have the chance to buy lunch on a work day. No matter how busy they are, the staff at Steamed always work quickly and professionally to get everyone in the door and fed quickly.
The range is not exhaustive, but it is more than enough, with plenty of different buns and sides that any kind of hungry can be satisfied.
My personal favorite is to get two pork, two chicken, two vege and a porkbun, which I find is enough for myself.
The price per bun is incredibly affordable, and twice a week they run specials that get you a lot of food for only a small amount of your hard earned money.
The atmosphere is nice, and the regular quiet in the resturant I can only put to every person in there is stuffing their faces with dumplings. Great place and I will always come back.
This place is a great little spot for a quick, cheap meal. I personally thought the chicken dumplings were a bit bland but thought of the others were delicious, and I love the accompanying chilli sauce! The small menu is perfect for a busy lunch spot like this, and it's a bonus that the staff are always super friendly and warm. I have been coming here for years and the food is always of consistent quality, would recommend.
Delicious! Simply delicious! Great little shop hidden away with a small variety of choice of dumplings, each of which are sensational! I love that the ladies were hand making the dumplings right in front of you. I tried all of the dumplings and the pork bun and couldn't fault them - clearly home made, and well priced! I will be back again and again and again :)
Good little hidden gem. Usually order the 6 and a bun deal. The pork bun is my favorite. It's light fluffy and the filling is delicious. The dumplings can be a hit or miss - depending on who makes them. Usually when the older lady makes them they are smooth, glossy, and just melt in your mouth. The best part about this place has to be their chilli/ Asian "vegemite". It is amazing, and compliments the dumplings and pork bun so well. All in all a good place to have a quick, light meal.
Great service, pretty good dumplings. I got the package with Pork and chicken dumplings as well as the pork bun. The Pork dumplings were ok but the chicken ones were what really shined. Very tasty. The pork bun was nothing to write home about - needs a bit more flavour. Have given it a thumbs up purely for how good the chicken dumplings were!
Overall - good.. Fillings are very tasty. Be aware, they do have a problem with freshness though.
