My new favourite breakfast place well worth the drive from anywhere in Brisbane. Fantastic fit out great service and excellent food highly recommend the Hunter, beef & bacon wagyu sausage is amazing as well as the horseradish & dill croquettes
Amazing service, best charcuterie platter I have had for years, great wine list. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Walked past this cafe on one of the Sunday morning, I noticed that there were many people having their brekkie at its al fresco dining area. I stepped in to have a cup of coffee.
Service is very friendly and I ordered a cup of flat white. It did not take a long time to have a nice presented coffee with a green color coffee cup on my table. Well, I have not had a cup of Fonzie Abbot for a while and it does satisfy my palate. Well done!
Best scrambled eggs in the world! Literally the only cafe in Brisbane that provides a veggie breakfast which is actually filling and worth the price. Everywhere else is just "sourdough and some eggs, that'll be $20 please". Highly recommend, yumm
Think I’ve found my new favourite place for brekky, and I’ve been to many in and around inner Brisbane.
Prompt efficient service With a smile and everything cooked to perfection.
3.5/5
When our original brunch venue fell thru, the day was saved with this alternative on the fly. The late Sunday morning queue spoke for itself with a very tidy setup of tropical oasis outside and Parisian cafe inside.
After a protracted & patient wait, we were rewarded with pleasant meals. Of particular note was the lemony zing of the hollandaise sauce on the three cheese hash brown benedict + its perfectly poached eggs. Remaining meals were inhaled hungrily without complaint. Coffee on pour is Fonzie Abbott, flawlessly executed, producing sexy layered macchiatos.
Only thing that missed the mark was the classic vanilla malt: what it lacked in malt, it made up for in cream - I’m not sure that they knew how much dairy was too much.
Not faultless yet still of a calibre that we’d return again if in the area.
Had only the desserts but it was delicious! There was the brownie and apple crumble which came nice and warm with ice cream, whilst the presentation of the turkish delight cheesecake and passionfruit butter cake were spot-on.
Hunter & Scout is a gorgeous cafe is Graceville! The area out the back is beautiful and the perfect surroundings for a lovely morning with family or friends. It can be very busy and sometimes hard to get a table. The menu is extensive with an incredible range of food to suit everyone, it can be hard to decide! The service was great, the staff were accommodating and friendly. They have weekend specials which are always delicious! The hot cakes are my personal favourite. These decadent buttermilk hot cakes are the perfect combination of fresh, sweet and rich. The Oreo milkshake wasn’t very Oreo and could do with a bit more chocolate and Oreos. Serving sizes are perfect and it is reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend Hunter & Scout!
Delicious and refreshing take on porridge. Perfect for the chilly winter morning, but still interesting enough to justify going out to breakfast. Paired with a delicious coffee roast from Fonzie Abbot. A wonderful cafe experience overall- the vibe and atmosphere is welcoming and cosy.
Lovely staff and seating, beautiful outing and beautiful food. The food and drinks are reasonably priced considering the value of the food and service.
Ok this was NEXT LEVEL! I was taken here for my early bday dinner last Friday - the food was exceptional! The staff were so friendly and the food came out really fast, which was great because we were hungry! We had beautifully cooked lamb cutlets and out of this world wild mushroom and sugar snap pea spaghetti - I am STILL dreaming about that spaghetti. But the lamb ohhhh it was all cooked to perfection. It was cold outside, but wow the back outdoor area is going to be amazing when the weather heats up. I would eat that spaghetti all day erryday if I could.
School holidays means brunch with my old work colleagues and I finally had the opportunity to find out what the fuss is about Hunter & Scout!
Even on a week day it was super busy with mums and older teenagers having lunch and coffees. The outdoor area has a very relaxed tropical feel with beautiful palms and tropical plants in large pots. So relaxing!
Again another place with an all day breakfast menu (loving it!!).
We had to wait till they cleared a table but we were promptly seated and waters and menus arrived shortly after.
Coffees ordered straight away. I ordered the Apple and Potato Rosti Benedict which is served with wilted spinach, 2 poached eggs, herbed hollandaise and I chose to have it with smoked salmon. My friends chose the beef wagyu burger with a side of chips and the Avocado on Rye with a side of bacon and a poached egg.
Our coffees arrived promptly, but were not very hot and went down too quickly. The coffee flavours were bold and smooth.
The meals took quite a while to arrive, but we had a lot to catch up on, so not too worried about the wait. The meals are on the pricey side, but I must say presentation was excellent and everything tasted amazing. Everyone was very happy with their meals. The smoked salmon was excellent and the herbed hollandaise made the meal. I will come back again.
Hunter and Scout has been on my cafe list for a while now. My sister-in-law picked this place for our brunch date. This cafe has a beautiful selection of food. Farmhouse bowl is definitely a must-try. I also recommend sitting outside; it gives tropical oasis vibes and is cute for photos.
• housemade granola bowl w/ seasonal fruits

Really happy with our breakfast at Hunter and Scout. Super friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The decor is really nice in the outdoor section with big Balinese fans, heaps of healthy hanging plants, bamboo screening, etc. Food was tasty and well priced and the portion size was really generous. Staff were really attentive - one of the mums ordered marshmallows on the side of her hot chocolate so that she could give the marshmallows to her son. The waitress brought a couple of extra marshmallows for my kids so that they didn’t miss out. We didn’t ask for them or mention anything - she was just attentive enough to know it would make a big difference for the kiddies. Will definitely be back.
Oh yes, and the coffee was great!
What a gorgeous find! A hidden oasis in the heart of Graceville. We went for brunch and our meals were timely and delicious. The staff were super friendly. We were there so long we then ordered afternoon cocktails 🍸🥂
Good Vibes💕 Cosy garden setting cafe. Beautiful presented food. Smooth coffee & friendly service 👍
We were there for breakfast, service excellent, food delious and reasonable priced. I highly recommend this venue and trust me you won't regret it, enjoy as we did.
Great little cafe but it was a bit cold today and a breeze blew through which took away from the ambiance. Very nice food and friendly staff but it took a while to get our order taken and it took a while for our food to come out. They were super busy so it wasn't for want of trying. I'll keep on coming here when I want to impress my wife on a date.
