High tea delicious and value for money. Loved the bubbles too.
We booked in to have dinner before seeing Kinky Boots and had both chosen the 2 course + side+wine for $70.
We were provided with beautiful grain bread and butter on arrival and 2 glasses of bubbles as requested. I requested the main of the beef tenderloin and the dessert of chocolate delice in which I was advised that it wouldn't be able to be provided as 3 seperate meals on the table wouldn't arrive on time. (This confused me as it didn't make sense as I wanted a main and dessert and my housemate wanted entree and dessert which I would have happily had dessert first!) so i opted for the charred prawns. Divine! Perfectly cooked, the coulis was delicious full of tomato and basil flavour, and the fennel was tender and the aniseed flavour complemented everything.
Loved loved loved the Tenderloin but was confused by the spring roll on our plate. Turns out that's where the brisket was that was described on the menu.
Definately will be back!
We ate dinner here after an afternoon show. Bookings are recommended. We made use of the two course, side, and glass of wine for $70 per person. I ordered the sautéed Mooloolaba king prawns for entree. The prawns were balanced beautifully by the tomato coulis and fennel. For my main course, I ordered the kingfish and a side of hand cut chips with garlic aioli. The accompanying spiced cauliflower, rice and lentil pilaf was sensational.
This meal just made me want to come back for more, such was the care taken in all aspects of preparation and plating. Our table service was exemplary. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Our table also provided a good view of the clean and well managed kitchen. We'll be back!
