Went for a Saturday morning walk along Lover's Walk and ended up at Matthew Thomas cafe'. A welcoming and warm feel to the place. I loved the decor, high ceilings and position with a view through the trees of the sea. The service was quick and personable. The menu is fairly extensive and reasonably priced (maybe a bit on the high side). Having said that, the portions were generous and well prepared. We loved our meal and the coffee was great.

What a little gem this cafe is! We were having a lazy Sunday so decided to go out for lunch something we don’t do locally very often as expectations are seldom met. This is our second visit here in as many weeks and I am so pleasantly surprised. Location, ambience and staff all wonderful and the food did not disappoint. Oh great coffee too.

I was here for breakfast with a group of friends. The service was very quick and extremely professional. The staff were very knowledgeable and welcoming about their diverse menu and possible changes. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend a visit.
