This place has a decent ambience, but the Thai food could definitely be better. The Tom yum soup and pretty decent and came with lots of ingredients. The pad Thai was way too moist for my liking and was too sweet. The service staff were pleasant.
Loved the settings, it's interior design and staff outfits.
Nothing unique on the menu which I thought it's a shame not to have one to make it different from others.
Our chicken wings, as an entree, were ordinary deep fried wings served with sauce. We then had a stir fry chicken cashew nuts, a stir fry pork with chilli paste and jasmine rice. Both meals were pretty well cooked and tasty. The meat were cooked perfectly and all vegs were fresh and crunch. One of the dishes were ordered a medium hot but probably it's too hot. So it's a bit risky for non regular customers.
Service was prompt and straight forward. Prices were average.
Delicious! I love the traditional clothing worn by wait staff. It really enhances the experience. The restaurant is also clean and has lovely warm lighting
Best Thai in the area for sure! They also deliver to your place for only $5...
The stir-frys have really fresh veg in them which they never over-cook. I love this place and when looking for good Thai, I go here time and time again.
Our favourite local Thai restaurant! Lovely place to dine in and also great for take away. Our favourite dishes is the Duck red curry with lychee and the Chicken Laab- the best I've had outside of Thailand!
Have tried Siam Sunset Thai in Graceville a few times now and have to say it that they serve, in my opinion, the best Pad Thai in Brisbane. I am partial to Pad Thai and have been on the hunt for the best one for the better part of the last ten years. I believe I have finally found it! It is a great blend of sauce, noodles and other ingredients! I have ordered it a couple of times now just to make sure! The other meals are just as great, either being other noodle dishes like the Pad-See-Ew or the Roasted Duck Salad which was refreshing and tasty. The Golden Parcels for a entree are delicious with a nice mixture of texture with the crisp of the wonton, the chicken mince and the crunch of the water chestnuts. It is a place well worth trying, especially if you are like me, and been hunting that elusive best Pad Thai!
Traditional Thai. We were not disappointed - good local, with good service, and well prepared culturally sensitive food!
Yum! We'll be back
Great local. My partner and I stop in for dinner here regularly. Staff are always friendly and attentive and food always comes out promptly. Always guaranteed to walk away happy!
We dined there on a Wednesday night, and it was somewhat busy. The decor was nice with a decent size alfresco area. The food was lovely but that's where it stopped. We had to flag down every bit of service we required and the meals did not come out timed at all. Some of us were finished by the time others got their meals. When it came to mains the waiter dished out the rice and it sat on the plate and got cold before the other mains arrived, very strange. Although the food was tasy for Thai food it was dear. The 5 of us left with a $200 bill and we ordered no drinks, just paid corkage for 1 bottle of wine. For that price I want the whole dining experience not just nice food.
Loved the food. Fresh and quick. Service was awesome too. Def my new fav thai place
