Great atmosphere, even during weeknights, Fritzenburger is a great burger joint with a twist. Serving up burgers on milk buns, six wildly original salt seasonings and great sides (pickles anyone?), it’s a relaxed and easy feed and a host of beers on tap and full bar to accompany your tasty meal. Beers are more on the artisan side -so not the place if you’re looking for a XXXX but plenty of options to try. Available on food delivery apps for convenience, open till late and in a nice corner spot on Caxton Street too!
This place makes delicious southern fried chicken for sure. Great service and delicious beer. The gherkins were massive- couldn’t not finish the serve. Chips were tasty, too. Pretty good bang for buck.
Really nice place to go and have a drink, they have plenty of craft beers on tap, the staff are great! Very friendly and willing to explain the differences in the beer you can tell they really love their beer. We had the "Vader" burger on special which was a crispy pulled pork with crispy slaw on a black bun. All washed down with a "Dark side of the Fritz" stout. Amazing. Would come back again anytime.
I tried their standard burger. It wasn't the best looking burger that came out. I took photos as evidence. It tasted good though. Perhaps the Brisbane burger scene doesn't need to try hard to visually please. But i reiterate that it tasted nice.
Despite the okay burger, the loaded fries is where fritzenburger shines. Twisties salt was very interesting to me and boy did it deliver. The chips were skin on and tasty and it was a decent load.
The many different flavoured salts is very interesting. I love salt so much so i could spend the day tasting different salts.

Great burgers. The brioche bun is the best I’ve had. Top burgers imo are the cheese x-burger and the chicken burger. Milkshakes are a must as well.
Our never ending search for Brisbane’s best burger has ended us here at Fritzenburger! Amazing juicy burgers and the in house brews are delicious! Try the vanilla ice cream ale! Great place to unwind on a weekend and caters to families also with plenty of seating.
I loooove the loaded frites here! They're so tasty - perfect bacon bits and cheese on top of crispy fries, and a great comfort food to eat up on rainy days. The chicken burger here is also incredibly delicious; the fried chicken thigh was succulent and juicy, and the buns were toasted to perfection. This is the chicken burger one can only dream of. The only reason my rating is not a 5 out of 5 is because I don't like the wings here. While they're worth the price, I found that the wings were not spicy enough and a bit too sour; it didn't seem like it was buffalo style, which I think is what they were going for as the sauce pairing was with blue cheese sauce. Finally, it is the lack of options besides blue cheese sauce that was most disappointing. In the future, I recommend more sauces, as well as a spice scale for the wings in case people like em hot! Also, you should totally offer fried wings in the same style as the fried chicken thigh in your burgers. I would definitely order that.
