Quick weekend brunch at Little Clive in Annerley, which I have long had on my list to try. Situated very close to Mr L's place of residence, we ambled over on Saturday morning for brunch. Already quite famished, we ordered quickly and I forgot to snap a picture of the menu. . Our coffees were served very quickly though, with two steaming hot cappuccinos ready in no time. These were strong and bitter but the milk could have been a bit smoother. It definitely did its job in keeping me awake though.
Stopped in here after gym as across the road. Late' and ham & cheese croissant was delicious. Nice ambience and friendly staff.
Will come back again.
Re-visit this café since my first time nearly three years ago. Service is consistently friendly and hospitable. Ordered a cup of flat white and savoury dish of Classic Reuben Sandwich. Coffee is definitely improved that matches my palate with right strength and smoothness. Reuben sandwich came with generous portions. Ingredient of the corned beef is thick cut and there are plenty of pickles accompanied with the sandwich. Needless to say, my little bird stomach cannot accommodate the big serving of sandwich so half of the bread was left over. Sorry chef!

Arrived this cafe before the normal trading hour and the friendly waitress told me to go back in another fifteen minutes very politely. Wandering around the area and went back, they were opened so ordered a cup of coffee and a poached egg with smoked salmon. The venue accommodates about 40 customers and there are four staff working there so it is a reasonable labour force. Coffee and savory meal came in a reasonable period of time. I found the coffee was average but the savory dish should deserve a thumb-up. The egg was poached with perfect timing and plating skill is good that enhances the aesthetic effect on the whole dish. Beetroot purée and pickles reduce the greasy feeling from the egg yolk (that is the reason that I don't order eggs quite often), which lead to a well balanced flavor with smoked salmon and the sourdough. Well done.
