Amazing wings and great chips, good atmosphere. Only thing letting it down are some staff. Some of them are fantastic, but one or two seem to have a bad attitude or are just unfriendly. The job might be frustrating sometimes, but your pay warrants you to tackle it with a positive attitude and uphold the reputation of the establishment.
Called in here to meet a couple of friends for a pre dinner drink. We sat in the beer garden which was pretty relaxed.
The service was excellent, and the staff friendly and really chatty.
This is definitely a handy place for a beer away from the hustle and bustle of the mall in the valley and a nice place to grab a drink.
Best honey bbq wings I’ve had and chips to boot to! Chips were delicious with the sauce and the wings were also great with the sauces, definitely give them a go!
Great atmosphere sitting outside on the picnic benches, they serve Brooklyn beer AND most importantly, their chicken wings are awesome. The original are my favourite, my mouth waters just thinking of that tangy hot sauce, with the cool blue cheese dip to match... 🤤
Known for their wings which is why The Dear Luncher ventured out to find Yard Bird. Being an ale house the expectation was that there would be some seriously good craft beer. Not a single decent beer on tap, but the evening was saved by some or their bottled selections. Sierra Nevada Beer Camp was the order of the day. Six of the original wings were requested and they were excellent. The cheeseburger was also excellent. Well constructed, melted cheese, loads of pickles and a very tidy bun allowing for easy eating. The wings are definitely a reason to visit in their own. Very nice touch providing both ranch AND blue cheese dipping sauces. The Dear Luncher will be back.

Known for its wings... a great place. Massive serves of wings and great choices. A great pub feel set in a cosy precinct. They do wraps and other things as well.
Yard Bird is my go to place for wings and beer if I want to sit down and eat with mates. The wings are always consistent. I have tried other stuff on their menu and the servings are massive. Great value for money. It is always buzzing at nighttime. During the day it is a bit quiet but I have had some good lumch sessions here in the past. You definitely need to try the food here if you have not already! I think Valley store is better than the Paddington one!

Dear owner. Nice one! Casual, easy going, friendly staff, cracker menu, (damn those wings are hot)! Love the old movies playing inside. I am now a regular!
If you're on the hunt for some tasty chicken wings, then this is the place to come. My absolute favourite is the chipotle BBQ. They have mastered this sauce, sweet and tangy with a great smoky flavour from the chipotles. The wings, although smothered in this smoky/sweet sauce, still manage to maintain a crispy underlay! This dish is not spicy at all. If you are looking for a spicy one and can handle the heat then you should get the death sentence wings...you have been warned though...these are HOT HOT HOT. I had a taste and my mouth was on fire. The garlic and Parmesan wings are my second favourite. They also do great chilli cheese fries. The burgers are not the best here. Come for the wings!!!
