One of my fav go to places for all things asian. I love the variety on the menu and the food is constantly great. Everything is always packed with flavour. I got a crispy pork belly laksa and it was delicious. It's very popular during lunch time so try getting there early.
Has to be the best laksa in town. The lines speaks for themselves. Its a hidden location but still there were lines. We were still served pretty fast. We ordered the crispy pork belly laksa. Omg lm still dreaming of this dish. From the beginning till the end we enjoyed every bite. The depth of flavour was amazing and the pork belly was crunchy and full of flavour. We will definately be back. Bring on winter and this amazing laksa.
The Pho was great and the price was reasonable for a good lunch. Service was quick and friendly. I would recommend for anyone working in the city who needs a break from the office space for a good meal to take your mind off of things.
Oh my dear lord... this is the place to be. Had the satay chicken roll and a bbq pork rice paper roll. DELICIOUS! And all for around 10 bucks. My new fave.
These guys are prompt, friendly, cheap and tasty! Can't go past the rice paper rolls, the salads and definitely not the Pork Belly Banh Mi. That is my go to! Might even have it today for lunch. Solid Vietnamese iced coffees. The Pho is pretty good and the curries in the hot box are perfect for a chilly day or even just when you want some good flavours. Highly recommend
I got the braised pork belly banh mi. I particularly liked the buttery, perfectly toasted bun. The amount of butter may be a turn off for some people though. The insides were fresh and tasty.
However, the prices have been hiked up from when the photo of the menu here was taken - $7.90 for a classic banh mi if I remember correctly. Of course, this is still a very affordable meal, but expensive in comparison to other places that sell banh mi.
I've been here a few times now and the service is always super quick. The line is always long but it moves fast. Great menu options including traditional Vietnamese food, all done really well. I had the Vietnamese pad thai first which was very tasty. The second visit I tried the winter special of laksa with pork belly. It was utterly DELICIOUS, one of the best laksa's I've had and PACKED full of pork belly. The serving was huge and it had so much flavour, I didn't want my lunch to end. The dining room does get a little dirty with a high turnover of people and not a lot of cleaning tables going on but the food is terrific so I can overlook this. Highly recommended, I will definitely return again!
Pork belly with rice is amazing!
Perfect lunch time spot with great service and terrific food.
Be sure to get in early especially if you want to dine in as the line can get pretty long.
Fresh and tasty! Reminds me of the true flavours of dishes we've tried in Vietnam. It's busy, just like the streets of Saigon, for a reason! LSG is definitely the best and most authentic Viet cafe in the CBD. Please open for dinner or on weekends because I live in the Oaks right next door and I would be a regular customer!
Simple Vietnamese food done well. Huge lines usually during the week, so fresh and tasty. Food does not take long to arrive once ordered. The vermicelli noodle options are a favourite and the Vietnamese pad thai style noodles are delicious.
Excellent quality Vietnamese in the centre of the city. Service was friendly & quick. Prices were very reasonable & affordable for a quick lunch. The quality of the food was really top notch - very generous piles of crispy pork belly in both our rice noodle bowls & banh mi rolls. Will definitely be going back!!
The place is kind of hidden, you need to enter to the corredor where the Australian Post lockers are and it is rght in the middle. The service was fast but tables were dirty. We had the lemomgrass chicken vietnamese bread roll and the veggie bread roll. Both were very yummy and with lots of filling. I would go back!
One of the best banh mi you can get in Brisbane. The pork banh mi is heavenly. The pho however was so full of oil that I couldn't finish (that's all oil in the spoon)
Good food and lots of options. You also get the Vietnamese coffee here and is a must try if you have not had that before. Gets busy during lunch time but super fast service.
The pho is thicker than the ones I normally have but it was good. The beef was tender but the soup a bit salty. Add the sriracha sauce into the soup and it cuts the saltiness.
