Have dined and drank here several times. They have a really good lunch and daily special, usually a combination of rump steak, burger,chicken schnitzel, etc with complimentary side and drink. Good atmosphere and pretty cheap drinks especially the daily happy hour. Also a good central location for those wanting to go out after or go back into Queen Street Mall for some shopping
I've eaten at Zi bar plenty of times so this rating is for there. The food and beers are too cheap not to and it's a good place to get away on your lunch break.

I have eaten here twice now and I can honestly say that it is one of the best value for money lunch and dinner restaurants I have been to. I have ordered the burger and chips (freshly cut potatoes) and any drink you like all for $13. The service is great and the food doesn't take too long to arrive. So if your any age not just for the young people it's great for a cheap night out!
Ok, firstly if you're not young or young at heart and don't mind the under 25 crowd then don't come here after 6pm... It's a landmark for heap drinks service backpackers for decades and it also has affordable meals. If you're not into the jigs of beer or cheap pizzas and schnitzels then head upstairs to the ground level and have a pint at the more refined Zi bar.
I've been here on a night out (numerous times) and always had an amazing time, but we went for lunch the other day. I was shocked at how great the food was! The chips were outstanding, homemade, and very filling. I couldn't even finish my burger, it was so huge! Everything tasted amazing and was quite cheap! I will be coming back during the day again!
Good Food Good Service. Three of us (parents and 20-yo son) ate here twice mid-October for dinner. Had the steak, enchilada, and chicken parma. Steaks were ordered rare and medium-rare and they came out perfect. Sides were fresh salad and thick chips - cooked well. Service was friendly and food arrived within a reasonable time. We would eat here again when in Brisbane.
