Fantastic fresh, healthy and authentic food. Fish was superb. Friendly staff and caring service. Definitely loads more yummy options on the menu to try.
This is one of my favourite restaurants in the area! Not only is the food out standing every single time, it’s family owned and run!! They are all such beautiful and wonderful human, who go out of their way to make sure you have are comfortable and satisfied, even if you’re ordering takeaway. Do yourself a favour and try it out!!

I really like it here. Delicious satay and garlic green veg are to do for. Satay not huge serves but so tasty. Owner is cool too, was lovely to my baby. Prices a bit high guess it's the location.
Been eyeing this place for quite a while. I thought the place would be bigger but in fact it's such a tiny intimate restaurant. Very relaxed and casual, well maintained, and clean. Some of the dishes taste really authentic (the entrees are super yummy). I had deep fried prawn balls and lumpia goreng, very recommended. the main dishes let me down a bit as the chicken rendang taste similar to butter chicken. the beef rendang also too sweet in my opinion and the meat didn't fall apart when we tried to cut it with fork like how beef rendang supposed to be. They might be adapted to Australian taste so I can't blame them. but the ayam goreng kremes was true to the indonesian taste that I know, reminds me of home. It's a bit on the expensive side. I'm not sure if I would come back since I prefer the other Indonesian restaurant in West End that's more affordable. But if you're close to this are, this place is worth a try.
Excellent homemade style cooking at a reasonable price and exceptional service. Ask for their homemade chili if you after that extra spicy kick with your meal. Highly recommended and will definitely go again. Enjoy!
Such a tiny welcoming family restaurant-nice and simple. Were friendly served by the owner dad and his son. "Mamaku" meaned "my mother" in Indonesian language, and there was a photo of the owner's wife and her mom hanging there.
Chosen from the simple menu, the prawn and pork meatballs soup tasted quite superb in the real chicken broth. The meatballs themselves were well seasoned, juicy and tender. The char shui pork nasi goreng served with all the salty, sweet, spiced flavours and topped with a sunny-side-up egg. And the mee goreng tasted ok, but the whole dish (for me) was very dry and overcooked. My Malaysian mate mentioned it's also served this dry in Malaysia, and he liked it. The portions and prices were reasonable; though they might be smaller for Sunnybank areas diners.
Was referred by a couple when ubering home. The place is clean and relatively new. Was even presented with a newspaper because I was on my own. Menu is simple and limited. Simply the best nasi Goreng in town. A small but, the thing missing was a bit of acar and cucumber to tomato on the side. It would've gotten 5 stars otherwise. Highly recommended.
Really enjoyed the food here . Very good blend of flavours, the curry was amazing and the wonton soup was refreshing. Will return for sure. The staff are also very accommodating and friendly.
A small restaurant, but don't let that discredit the quality of flavour and Asian cuisine. Really nice food! Recommend a booking and taste for yourself
A lovely family of various generations that is utterly welcoming in all facets.
The food here is cooked from the heart & it translates to the divine Indonesian dishes on offer. Prepared to each order, you'd wish you found this cute little establishment sooner. Servings are generous, value is evident & you'll leave very satisfied in all aspects.
No matter which part of town you reside in, make the journey to Mamaku & you'll find yourself being a loyal customer in absolute no time.
Some of the best noodles I’ve ever had! Had the Mi goreng fried noodles - fresh and delicious, great value for money. Have driven past this restaurant for years, glad I finally gave it a go! Highly recommend. Next time will try dine in - super fresh and bright decor. Also impressed that my take away came in a cardboard biodegradable container - and a paper bag.
Authentic Indonesian cuisine that make me feel like home. Such deliciousness in this corner should be celebrated and shared with all to enjoy.
Great food! Authentic and delicious. Customer service was welcoming. Feels like a family run restaurant. Clean and cute little space. Definitely one of our local favs! Amazing laksa! 🥰
Thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and experience here with my wife. Lovely owners and authentic Indonesian flavours that tastes and smells like home (South East Asia). Can see ourselves being a regular here in the years to come.
