Best service, food and coffee. The deli is authentic European and will you not have a better experience anywhere in New Farm! I guarantee it. I come here for a beautiful Italian breakfast and takes me 30 minutes to drive but it's worth it!
Have been coming to this glorious deli for over 20years, way back when you could get a "New Farm Bomber"đ The food and coffee are always on point and the array of fine foods & delicacies is endless. We've enjoyed many scrumptious platters that we have put together from the delicious meats, cheeses, breads & olives from the deli. Its obvious that a lot of love and hard work goes into running this successful business. If you love food and service of the highest quality, you need to visit the New Farm Deliâ¤ď¸
Visited for a work meeting during the week. Accommodated without a reservation early afternoon. Tiramisu and iced coffees were fantastic.

I meant to visit the Savoury cafe but I changed my mind to explore this deli cafe because I have not been back for over two and a half year.
Correct me if I am wrong that itâs lay out has been refit.
The whole deli cafe was upgrade and grand. After I have checked in with my personal detail, I was led to a table inside. Initially, service was slow due to the absent-mind of the manager that the next table and mind have not been attended for a while although there are many wait-staff working on the floor. However, friendly service was resumed that compensated any unhappiness.
Ordered a flat white to go with just a plain croissant (I noticed that the cafe has its own counter serving bakery produce) with jam and butter.
Coffee came first with the Vittoria brew, which was carefully prepared by the barista. Then the plain croissant presented to the table. Visual appraisal made me very satisfy and I was sure that it was a good one with nice texture. Gut feeling proved to be true that the croissant remains its layers and crispness.
I donât mind to have that every day.

So glad they are back. Lovely breakfast and an amazing lunch. My fav is there lasagne! It can be hard to get a large table without a wait but is worth that wait.
Died and gone to Italian heaven at New Farm Deli! Stocks pretty much anything youâd be able to shop for in Italy! The olive counter is sensational to say the least! Pizza and pasta is of course what they do best! Go on! Live a little! Mamma Mia!
New Farm Deli and Cafe was a very busy cafe. Although this was the case the wait for food was not long at all. The staff were very friendly, the service was good.
The food was very tasty and there is a large menu so plenty of options to choose from. Will definitely visit again to try more of the menu.
Went here for a late breakfast on a Sunday mid-morning to meet up with a friend. What a place! The lines were never-ending and we were asked to line up and order first whilst the waiter bustled around to find seats.
I ordered fresh orange juice and the 'Fumati', which was simple and delicious - crispy toast, generous portion of smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and perfect amount of capers.
Casual ambience. Think loud and bustling with excited hungry locals. Nearby delicatessen with lots of goodies. Reasonable prices. Friendly and efficient service with obviously good communication skills given the cacophony of customers and orders.
Overall, a real New Farm institution with no-fuss comfort food. Looking forward to trying the pasta options after 11am.
Omg!! This is what I miss about Sydney! All the little delicatessens with the Mediterranean mummas serving you with their wonderful italian or greek accents! Priceless!!
I have been to this cafe twice now and love it! Its busy, bustling and noisy but the staff can always find you a table.
Waiting in a queue to order can feel a bit tedious, but I think its part of the charm and they certainly get through the line as fast as they can. Its amazing how many settings they turn over. They certainly have it down to a fine art. The staff don't look harrassed or flustered, but are constantly clearing tables and directing customers.
Serving sizes are big and oh so tasty! The coffee is surprisingly very good considering the beans are Vittoria. Maybe it's the way the Italians put love into everything they do.
I had the char grilled calamari salad and the plate was overflowing and oh so delicious

Great atmosphere and attentive staff! The bolognese gnocchi is delicious and the coffee is fantastic. Even though it was busy we didnât have to wait very long for a table due to the awesome staff
Went here around lunchtime and the place was full of customers. The place was spacious. There are varieties of menu and cakes. I chose one of their pastries (not sure what it was). The staff nicely tpld me that it had ricotta for the filling. I gave it a try and it really made my day!!! It was extremely tasty!!! The pastry was crunchy. The filling was soft, creamy, fresh, and had the right level of sweetness.

Bilfranki is the heritage Queenslander house in Herston where 20-something Cindy-Lou and her somewhat older companion Jett Rink reside and it was rather noisy there after the couple returned from the landmark New Farm Deli where Cindy-Lou had been shopping while Jett enjoyed a long American black coffee in the cafe. Jett and Cindy-Lou are both fans of the full-size or American black coffee in the morning, and Jett likes to get hold of the New Farm Deli brown paper bag that the cheese, bread and olive oil are presented in, being something of a collector of such things that have names and places printed on them. The trouble that morning was Jett had a second American black coffee and the rush to his head was like gulping a triple shot of his Old Crow bourbon, and back at "Bilfranki" with his new New Farm Deli paper bag in hand, and a Montecristo cigar burning between his teeth while seated on the back balcony, he had a mischievous thought and burnt three holes through the bag with his cigar and put it over his head. Declaring "The Unknown Comic" was present, he chased a screaming Cindy-Lou about their beautiful home, skidding on the polished timber floor in his cowboy boots, the hound dog chasing too and barking, and if ever there was proof of Jett Rink's Texas good fortune this was it: Cindy-Lou jumped out of Jett's way and he flew over the back balcony and landed on the clothes line far below. A shocked and screaming Cindy-Lou ran down stairs with barking hound following and found Jett had already removed himself from the line and standing on the lawn said he'd torn his New Farm Deli paper bag and they'd have to go back for lunch to get another. Cindy-Lou hugged an apologetic Rink and sternly said: "You're off to the hospital for x-rays my little Stuffed Badger." After his release, without a scratch found, Jett and Cindy-Lou returned to the New Farm Deli for lunch where there was a lady seated in the crowded room wearing tweeds despite the warm weather. Jett politely said, "Good afternoon, m'am," to Edna Ferber, who had a monocle on and was reading the City North News: "When are they going to fix the creek over your way, Mr Rink?" "How long's a piece of string, M'am?" "Exactly. Your young lady-love there ordering at the counter should have studied hydraulic engineering rather than mechanical, then she could fix it." "But who'd look after my car?" he replied with a wink. Jett and Cindy-Lou sat down at a table by the far wall after Cindy-Lou pre-ordered two bowls of the New Farm Deli's famous spaghetti bolognese and two glasses of Sicilian red (Cindy-Lou doesn't usually drink but decided she needed one after the morning's events). "I'm just gonna to do some shopping in the deli, Cindy-Lou," said Jett. "Good," raven haired Cindy-Lou replied, and pulling a string bag from her handbag, said, "you can put your shopping in this!" "I'll order a couple of espressos on the way through." "See that you do." He kissed Cindy-Lou's cheek. "Don't buy too much, now," she said, "we're having breakfast tomorrow with Big Daddy at the Stuffed Badger."
"Never was one to spend too much, Cindy-Lou." "And the creek don't flood neither!" replied Cindy-Lou.
