June 2020. Went here with a group of friends for a weeknight dinner (reservation made ahead of time).
We shared the premium wagyu, pork and seafood set between about eight to nine people. Fresh and tender protein, particularly good quality wagyu beef. Accompanying side dishes provided.
Casual ambience. We were fortunate to be given a private room for our group, which included two grills. Efficient service.
Overall, a solid restaurant for Korean BBQ with friends.
Great restaurant with a large area for big crowds. Food was lovely and served promptly .
Probably one of the best kbbqs in Brisbane! Meat is high quality and the dishes they offer aren’t bad either like the kimchi pancake and fried chicken!
Consistent, great food and service with smile! Ordered wagyu set for charcoal bbq, fried chicken, seafood pancake and seafood tofu stew. Pancake was crunchy on the side, not thick and seafood not overcooked. First time ordering seafood tofu stew and it was a wow factor! Totally enjoyed the food as well as the ambience.
The BBQ is pretty decent and the service was good. Would recommend for groups, although they don’t do split bill.
Very large dining area perfect for grounds within Sunnybank, we were quickly seated by very friendly staffs, which then provided us with the menu. The menu features a list of extensive korean dishes!! You can honestly find pretty much any Korean dish on this menu rather than just bbq meat.
We ordered the wagyu $85 platter to share which came with Miso soup.
The quality of meat was pretty nice, and portion was decent and it said "feeds 3-4" however we find it just enough for 2, which seemingly would be quite disappointed if we actually did order this platter for a group of 3-4 people.
Would recommend
The best Korean fried chicken I've ever tasted in Australia! I tried the fried boneless chicken with spring onion and was amazed! The chicken came in hearty portion and they had the perfect crunchiness, yet so moist on the inside. There's no overwhelming sauce on top of the chicken and the chicken already tasted quite savoury. They also matched perfectly with the spring onion. Together, the chicken, the sauce, and the spring onion gives harmonization of sweet, savoury and a hint of sour flavours. Two thumbs up!
If you’re looking for the best Korean bbq in Brisbane, this is where you need to be. Other dishes are super delicious and the prices are reasonable.highly recommend!!!
Phuong Tran and I visit for our quarterly Korean BBQ fix. The Menu has changed and our favourite Mapo Combination Set is now for a meal for 6 people, not 2. We decide on the Marinated Set of Beef, Pork and Chicken ($55). The service here has vastly improved. Our Dinner order plus side dishes arrive in under 5 minutes. And pressing the call button gets an immediate response. Wonderful!
The charcoal is red hot which makes grilling a simple fun task. The meat quality and marinades are good and our complimentary side dishes are replenished quickly. Mapo is filled to the rafters before 7pm and we see Tomcat and family. Staff here speak English and are helpful. Thank you guys!
My go to place for Korean BBQ.
Quite busy on Friday/weekend nights. Expect wait a bit if you go there at peak dinner time or book a table to be safe.
Price is not cheap but you will get what you pay for. Meat is always fresh and you will feel satisfied you had good meat.
Customer service is okay. I like the system of pressing button on table but sometimes it's faster to just get waiters attention yourself.
I went here with my extended family on Sat night. Parking was reasonably easy and the place was reasonably busy. We ordered a range of bbq, hotpot and cooked dishes and they all arrived reasonably quickly. The marinated meats were nice. Service was always quick whether it was more water or changing the bbq tray.
Cosy korean restaurant. Price comes with very descent portion. Nice atmosphere. They can cater big group and families with kids. They also have private rooms if you wish more privacy. Food are great! Staffs are friendly. Service is good and fast.
Korean is my flavour at the moment. This place was good- fast service, no fuss and tasty. I’ll come back to try the kbbq.
Food was great and fresh, staff were friendly and the prices were very reasonable. Clean, tidy and well presented. I would recommend the BBQ as the best option for a filling meal. 2 👍🏻👍🏻 from me.
Great Korean BBQ restaurant. Lots of variety with large plates and at reasonable prices. Don't over order.
Found this gem of Korean BBQ place late Thursday night. They closed at 12 midnight and took last orders by 11pm. This place still uses CHARCOAL grills! Score! Most Korean BBQ places just use an electric grill and you don't get that Smokey flavour. The meat here is way better than a traditional Korean BBQ as well. They haven't skimped on quality yet. It's family friendly as a looked around as it even has an enclosed child play area. It's been open for 2 years and have not heard of this place. Great find. Will definitely come back.
Nice place to experience Korean BBQ. Service was nice, meats were high quality.
Tasty Kimchi pancake and fried rice. Most bbq meat is good except wagyu beef.
