I used to be a regular for about 3 years before I moved to a far away suburb. Eating here kinda gives that nostalgic feeling about Germany. Almond croissant, Brezel and orange tea cake are definitely a must try. The last time I was there (2 months ago), they had more variety of savoury pastries which tasted good.
My review is only based on a cake I tried from King of cakes called death by chocolate. This was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. The chocolate melted in my mouth in each bite. It was magnificent.
I walked past its sibling at Nundah couple of weeks ago and it was closed so made it trip to explore this branch in the morning. Arrived when it just started its trading for the day. When I walked in, there was already a gentleman standing in front of the counter and could not decide what to have. In fact, it is not surprised to see such situation happening in this bakery because there are so many bakery items and sweet treats available. Fortunately, I made up my mind very quick to have a triangle and a flat white for dine-in. It did not take a long time to have everything ready on the table. Coffee was made of Di Bella, which was strong enough with above average standard. Pastries of the Triangle was crispy, however, if it has been warmed up enough, marks would be definitely higher in this review.
