Wow what a place! Fantastic service although busy. Delightful place to be, surrounded by greenery, you feel like you are in Narnia! Lovely menu and $10- cocktails? Which are delicious, great tunes too.
I had drinks at the Elixir Rooftop Bar on Saturday night for a friends birthday, as we were a large group we reserved a table. Drinks are reasonably priced and all the bar staff very very friendly. It can get quite cramped in the area though, especially near the bar and being summer it got quite warm too. Elixir Is just above X&Y and ca be a little tricky to find, but it is worth the walk up the stairs.

Have been here on a couple of occasions and both times had a very pleasant moment. Bartenders know their back bar quite well and will make you a cocktail at a reasonable price even if its not on the menu. Nice spot
Great place for a drink and chill...There is always great music but it can get quite packed as the venue is very small. If your lucky enough to get a booth you won't want to leave as the atmosphere is very cozy and the light is perfect. The bar can get very busy so expect to wait 15-30 minutes for cocktails on a Saturday night. They do take their time for the cocktails but the end result is worth it. I can't go past their apple-tinis. Perfect balance of sweet and sour.
I visited Elixir after hearing some good things about their Thursday ribs and red deal for $20. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and a rooftop bar with group high tables and a few cozy couch areas. The food came very quickly and was in a generous portion for the price. The beef rib was tender and flavorsome and the refreshing salad on the side balanced the rich ribs perfectly. Definitely recommend if you like a strong red wine with some ribs for a great price!
What a lovely little oasis! I so much enjoyed our time here the other night. Whilst we only had a couple of cocktails and a cheese platter as we had already eaten elsewhere, you can tell a lot about a place from its cheese platter - three lovely cheeses, quince paste, pistachios, lavosh crisps & apple slices. The smells coming from the kitchen were fantastic and I would love to give the menu much more of a workout. The cocktails were excellent, and prepared with care and attention. Service was pleasant and smooth. It is a tiny place, so I imagine at busy times it could get quite crowded, but certainly have a look in on a quiet night. It is a rooftop bar with a private courtyard ambience rather than views
Trendy, yet quaint, Elixir was the perfect little hideaway bar for my partner and I to enjoy a Sunday evening drink while every other bar in town was crawling with U.S. sailors. The music perfectly suited the vibe set up by the brightly decorated cushioned bench seats. These were perfect to sit back and relax on or for a small group to have some casual drinks together.
The service of our Veuve Brut was a nice touch, and the bottle went down a treat.
The limited number of seats would make it a squeeze if more than 30 or so people graced Elixir of an evening, so it's definitely somewhere tailored toward a more intimate evening.@

Had a awesome night at elixir! The staff were friendly, quick and knew how to mix cocktails.The atmosphere was really nice and the Dj played good music which wasn't to obnoxious to not hear ppl talk. The couch areas are great for small to medium groups. It Rained too but that didn't spoil the night, as it had a retractable roof and was then inclosed. Overall fantastic night at elixir! A great way to start your night out and enjoy some awesome cocktails! Dinner and then elixir - would be a perfect date night too :)

Mmmm don't want my cocktail to end! The menu isn't huge but the mixologists are knowledgable and will stun you with your own unique creation with there little twists. This is my third visit & won't be my last, love it ;)
Elixir is my favorite place to go to relax and hang out with friends. It has an amazing range of drinks to suit any mood and the food is so delicious.

Beautiful classy little joint, lots of options on the bar. I recommend booking if you want a reserved booth, recommended for small groups for pre drinks and lovely rooftop scenes. Lots of classy dress wear so it's not your average casual place to just get a beer if you're in street wear. Small and secluded, with smoking area.
I could not recommend this bar more, the food and drinks were delicious!
If you’re celebrating a special occasion, like me - I’d recommend booking in advance for the group and ordering some platters (best canapés ever)

After having a bad experience at another rooftop bar nearby, my girlfriend and I came to Elixir and honestly it was just ideal. An honest thank you to Hannah who was effortlessly, genuinely, nice. Thank you for smiling at us and enjoying your job. The music is amazing, drinks are on point and the venue is idyllic. Thank you for making our night. Shout-out to the $25 cocktail jugs.
Good place in the rooftop with stunning decoration. It is feel warm and romantic at night so it is good place for date or just chill out. They have range of wine and cocktail little bit expensive but you pay for cozy place though. Food was amazing too but need to wait little bit longer maybe because their kitchen not too big.
Such a variety of areas to choose from to take up with your guests or partner during a visit.
Stools, lounges, well lit or romantic, benches or urban murals etc. Great!
DJ music almost a little to loud for conversation but just manageable.
Lovely ambience in this non pretentious Valley cocktail bar. A bit glam, a bit romantic and overall comfortable suitable for friends, small groups or partners.
Helpful staff that sell to please. Seems they are creating new cocktails ... which is great.. and happy to make sure you are liking them!
A little hidden away as it hasn't got a very obvious entry which probably makes the genuine atmosphere a success.!

I couldn't have been happier with my sister's choice for my Hens night! Melissa and the team bent over backwards to make sure I had heaps of surprises waiting for me.
The staff were so cool that they:
*Named a cocktail named after me for my guests
*Let my sister add my favourite food to their menu as a canapé for my guests
*Let her come and set up early
*Allowed us to play some hens games (lot's of other venues don't allow this), and
most importantly kept my Mum happy!!! (omg you don't know how hard this can be!!!).
This will be a night I will forever remember!
