The staff are wonderful and friendly and the food is off the chart delicious!!!! If you like Thai Food you will LOVE this place! I love their deepfried tofu best but they have something for every taste!
If you want to try Thai that’s uniquely Queensland, give Pinto Thai a try. The Moreton Bay Bug Yellow Curry is fantastic, and a must-try Brisbane dish. We arrived to a fully booked restaurant, but the team at Pinto managed to fit us in without hesitation.
Pinto Thai Eatery is a cute little restaurant located in Mount Gravatt that ticked all the boxes for us. Lovely service, truely authentic Thai dishes, extensive menu options, kid friendly and great drinks as well. Also if you ever want a whole Barramundi dish done right than head over to Pinto Thai. We tried the deep fried barramundi topped with onion, capsicum and ginger in tamarind sauce. Definitely the star attraction for me and it really does just get your attention as it hits the table and of course it was amazing.
Located next door to Little Black Pug Cafe this is a quaint little Thai restaurant. We seat ourselves and order off the $9.90 Lunch Menu. Our friendly Thai waiter delivers our meals within 15 minutes.
* Chicken Fried Rice ($9.90) is hot off the wok, nicely seasoned and tasty albeit a tad sweet. At this price it is still a bargain!
* Seafood Pad See Ew ($14.90) costs an extra $5 for the Seafood. Chicken, Pork or Beef Pad See Ew is $9.90! Freshly fried, this tasty dish is once again a tad sweet but I finish the whole plate.
It is unfortunate that many of Brisbane’s Thai restaurants add too much sugar to their meals. A half point deduction for the excessive sugar reduces the overall score to 4. Thank you Pinto Thai!

The food is delicious and has lots of flavour! My red duck curry and coconut rice has now become my regular take away order. Staff are also ery friendly and polite! :)
3.5 (closer to a 4 than a 3)
I think Pinto is a gem & I reckon you will too. Our takeaway dinner for four defaulted to here when our mate’s usual Thai joint didn’t answer their phone. (I know, I know; he needs Ubereats stat...) Going in blind to collect the order, we discovered a charming lil eatery nestled on busy Logan Road.
Timely and tasty: meals hit all the right Thai flavour profiles. Chilli level on the Pork Pad Spicy delivered satisfying sniffles & tingling lips. Special shout out for the amount of good quality veg in the spring rolls.
Our mate is now converted & says this is his new regular.
The staff where quite friendly. I had the whole fish and the massaman curry. I was quite satisfied with each dish. Lots of good Thai places in Brisbane but this the best in that area for sure!
Very good service. Waitresses are so sweet and always keep smile. Coconut rice and coconut soup are recommended. Steam fish could be stronger taste. And the black sticky rice could be harder and cooked less water
The food was amazing, fresh, packed with flavour. And all at a very reasonable price for what you get. The food wasn’t watery like you normally get at some Thai restaurants. And there was plentiful of meat with the dishes we ordered. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The interiors was also very cozy. I just wish they opened everyday! This has to be one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to my fair share!
Beautiful atmosphere and wonderful service. Couldn't ask for more. Came to the restaurant on a Tuesday night and there were no tables outside. We couldn't sit inside because we had our dog with us. When we asked whether we could sit outside, they were more than happy and accomodating even giving us a large table outside. Ordered a large spread which included:
1. Prawn salad:
Generous amount of large prawns on a bed of crunchy papaya salad. More papaya would've been preferable but still delicious
2. Beef Pad Thai:
Stir fried noodles that are very aromatic (strong wok taste). Beef was a little chewy though but pad Thai was still delicious
What you need to get here:
3. Tamarind crispy fish:
This fish is freaking anazinggggggg!! Make sure you leave some room for this beauty. I have never tried anything like it in Brisbane. Generous portion of crunchy fish pieces with a sauce that compliments it very well. Fish bones were so crunchy that they were eatable. Love love love love love. Would come back here just to eat the fish!!
