Very attentive service at this busy fish shop in the Rosalie Village. We ordered the cod with chips. Chips were a huge serve crunchy & almost grease free. Cod was small but had a light crunchy batter & was moist & delicious
First time to this place. I dare to say this is the best fish and chips in Brisbane- we ordered the fish burger and fishermen’s basket (with beer battered chips) and both were to die for. Will definitely go back

I had a posh lunch here, a little treat for myself. Staffs are very nice, I’ve got enough time to make my decisions lol! I’ve ordered 1/2 dozen of fresh open oysters & it’s absolutely tasted so much better then the oysters I bought which set in the fridge in the seafood market. I can still tasted the juice from the ocean n it’s really nice! There is a wine store next to restaurant that’s so convenient you could just grab a bottle from there. The prawn were ok except few of them are a little icy. I’ve picked Hancock & Hancock FIANO which goes really well with the oysters except not for the prawns but surprisingly goods well with the sauce. Well I’m not a “sauce” person, wonder what kind of wine can match with both.
Some of The Best Fish and Chips in Brisbane. Since the change of hands around 12 months ago there have been some MAJOR changes, the introduction of proper crockery over the previous metal eatery dishes, I think, is a nice touch. I will be back.
A great fish shoppe with a great outdoor seating area. Grab a nice bottle next door and a meal. Snapper, Barra, etc you know the drill. Perfect on a balmy night.
We went to Fish Lovers for lunch last Friday and found the food very nice. I ordered the beer battered soft shell crab w chips and tartare, the batter was super crispy and the crab soft and tender. The chips were also awesome. Will definitely be back.

Love this place! Fresh tasty fish & burgers, staff are always friendly. Its one of only a few places that our son will sit still & eat all his food.
Love it and great for kids. We always love going here and our kids love it too. For around 8 bucks our kids have a little sunday treat and the paper on the table for colouring in is great!
Just a wonderful local eatery. This is my 4th visit, and i still haven’t moved on from the crumbled fried cod and calamari rings...they are not greasy, really crunchy, good sized portions, and the flavour of accompanying tartare sauce is just delicious! Hats off to the kitchen staff. 👍🏻
And the counter staff are just wonderful, always friendly and polite. I have no idea how Sam could possibly remember what I ordered during my first visit (and that was a few months ago 😱). That was exceptional attention to details, she just turned me into a regular customer this afternoon! I will be back many times and try the rest of the menu. 😋😋😋

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. The battered cod was beautifully crunchy and very filling. Chips were as good as you can ask for with great portion size. Our host was very accommodating and even made suggestions to help keep things at great prices. Definitely making this a regular.
Went with my friend L to have a quick lunch. Calamari rings were nice and tender. Garlic prawns were very tasty. But the winner was the two dozen pacific oysters we had. Surprisingly amazing quality, size and flavor! Will be back for sure.
Really delicious dinner tonight, lovely light crumbed cod, fresh Greek salad. My son had battered cod, the best crispy batter I’ve experienced. Well done guys. Service was excellent.
Everytime I order food from Fish Lovers I am always overly impressed with their welcoming and genuine customer service. Whether it's the owner or a member of her team everyone is an absolute gem! To top it off their food is delicious 👍
I wouldn't call myself a regular customer but each time I do purchase dinner here there is such a warmth and sense of community.
