I visited with a friend last night for dinner. This restaurant although opulent in decor, was really warm and cosy. We were welcomed by Annie and seated at a booth table. Velvet upholstered booth lounge and velvet upholstered and extremely comfortable arm chairs. My friend and i shared an entree of Fragrant Scallops which were served with Cauliflower three ways - Puree (divine!), Pickled (Lucious!) Crispy (texturally delightful). The scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. We then shared two mains.....one of Pork Belly and the other Spanner Crap Tortellini. The Pork Belly was succulent and melting; the tortellini one of the best I've eaten. I recommend The Palace Supper Club for all the foodies out there. My experience was fabulous.
Food was delicious, service outstanding and the vibe was killer. Looks expensive but wasn’t. First pour was Belvedere and only $9! Definitely will come back here. Such a great find!
“Can you recommend a cocktail that looks really nice?” I paused as soon as I said those words. I mean if the opulent, old-world glamour decor of The Palace Supper Club was anything to go by, every single cocktail on the menu would be pretty unique and that certainly was the case. The Palace Supper Club has been opened for only a short time, but it has created quite a buzz around town, and it no doubt adds a layer of sophistication to Chinatown. Stepping through a set of heavy brass doors, not one single trace of the former occupant, a Chinese seafood restaurant can be spotted. Instead, get ready to be in awe of the imported sparkling chandelier as you walk up the stairs before being welcomed a smartly dressed staff.
I had my 26th birthday party there and really like this place. The booking process was smooth and a guy called Amos was super helpful in arranging all the things. I am not a fan of karaoke but it's a fantastic experience, a bit like your own small pub with the music you chose from the machine.
The customer service is great, the manager came to check if we are okay every now and then. My friend wasn't feeling well after a few shots and they have kindly bought the medicine for him from a chemist, best customer-service and really care about their customers!
Food is great too, love their chicken wing. I found the price quite reasonable in Brisbane for a 20ish people party as both food and beverages were included. The only thing is that they respond slower in email so I think calling them directly is easier.
Had our hens night there last weekend. The venue was amazing and beautiful. The food platters were delicious and made our guests happy for the night. The staff were very lovely and patient in teaching us how to use the karaoke system and choosing songs. A very memorable night for our lucky lady!
Nice. Chilled out. 1st time on a thursday night. Friendly staff. Quiet with a nice, small, friendly crowd. Steak, cutlets, lobster roll all great. A nice twist. Really reasonably priced meals for the small great quality. Super selection of booze.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming as well as the service is excellent. The food was amazing and its quality matched its prices. I was celebrating my birthday and this was the perfect experience for fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere for a special occasion.
We've had our end of year staff function at the Palace Lounge and everything was absolutely spot on. John and his team had strong attention to detail and anticipated all of our needs in advance. Great private room which catered for 20 of us and felt very spacious.. there was wide range of songs to choose from and very attentive service - little bell in the room did all the trick! Will definitely return again for our next functions.. thanks again for looking after us.. highly recommended!
Finally a place that not only has a high standard of service but expects that same of its customers. The Valley is scrubbing up nicely 😊
