This takeaway and eat in restaurant has been operating for years. I tis usually get food, although I have had some pretty "average" meals there at times. But the owner is eager to please and will happily replace a dish you are not happy with (for good reasons of course). The Tandoori chicken looked very old and dried out and the owner did not hesitate to replace it.
Food is tops, freshness is tops, staff and owner and chef naresh and the team are very accommodating and super friendly. Food is incredible. I recommend everything on the menu as I think I've tried everything. Still get my usual tandoori chicken though.
I cannot fault the food at all. Brilliant. The service was friendly and we were made to feel welcome. The decor is very "take-away" but I think this may add to the ambiance. Came with my partner who is the same as me but maybe don't bring a date if she's not a foodie! We will be back.
We get takeaway from Indian Appetite once a week- it's always tasty, hot and ready on time! The garlic, onion, cheese and spinach naan is highly recommended!
New to the area and tried this place tonight, ordered Keema Naan - Medium Butter Chicken - Mild Chicken Korma. In short, we will be back. Good Indian meal. Plenty of chicken, tasty sauce and a strange tasting Naan but really good! Will be locked in our phone as our new local Indian. Good work to the owners/chef.
My husband and I have eaten at numerous Indian takeaway places in our time, and on moving to Ferny Hills I was pleased to see that Indian Appetite had some great reviews ALL of which turned out to be totally justified. Everything is very tasty (who wants bland Indian?), the menu has heaps of variety and the staff are always friendly. As others have said, the goat curry is amazing, but so are a lot of other things! We are definitely happy with this as our local Indian takeaway.
Just finished some takeaway tonight and experienced the best Indian food I have had in a long time!
I was expecting the meat quantity to be a little light on after reading some of the reviews, I'm pleased to say it was quite the opposite. Takeaway tub was packed full of lamb and delicious...
Narash is really helpful and caters for the weak Aussie palate but if you want authentic Indian food just ask for traditional hot or (English Hot) and he will oblige without being stupidly hot! Their Naan breads are to die for!! Get a good Indian in ya!!
Best naan bread. I love the spinach and cheese naan bread here. Always great curries leaves you wanting more !
Somebody introduced me to Indian Appetite about a year ago and I haven't been able to find another Indian restaurant that lives up to this particular restaurants delicious cuisines as of yet. The staff are friendly, they treat their local and regular diners wonderfully. The food is simply delicious. Many thumbs up to this local family owned restaurant.
