I love it here! I often stop in on my lunch breaks because I know the service is excellent and the food will arrive quickly. I enjoy getting the kimchi pork soup special the most lately
Delicious fried chicken + good serving sizes + excellent price. Couldn’t ask for more!
Yum yum yum. The hot stone bowls, soups, fried chicken and kimchi fried rice are all great. I’m hoping to try the hot pots soon.
Definitely one of my go to Korean restaurants in the CBD, prices are a little steep but it’s great for groups!
Authentic Korean food and service. Cosy booth type tables available for a semi private dining experience in a grungy and funky underground venue. The fried chicken is good quality and flavour. Would definitely return when the Korean cravings hit
Loved everything ❤️ amazing customer service. We kept asking for more side dishes and the staff did not seem annoyed at all. Will definitely be back!
I love ttopbokgi (korean spicy rice cakes). Although I’m bad with spicy things, it’s the only spicy food I will eat! This spicy creamy rice cake was perfect 🤤 the creaminess really works well with the ttopbokki and fish cakes! There was even an egg. My partner and i were satisfied by the end of the plate. Soooo worth it
Wow! Very generous lunch specials - some nice healthy options here. Each special comes with side dishes too which is great value. The place is tucked away in a basement but has a relaxed Korean pub vibe, might be worth checking out for drinks and fried chicken some time.
This is a great place to bring friends and family to eat. Their chicken was absoloutly amazing and food in general was full of flavour which is why so many people loves this place!
Bull Bar was bit pricey compared to other Korean restaurants. I used to come to this place since they used to have partitions between the table that made it comfortable to talk with friends. However, the last time I came here, the partitions were removed and the noise inside the restaurant was deafening. I could not really talk with friends since we could not hear each other.
However, it offers a lot of dishes that made it stand out from the others. My favourite dishes are Kimchi Fried Rice with Cheese, Boneless Deep Fried Spicy Chicken with Cheese, and Deep Fried Garlic Chicken. The garlic chicken was amazing, can do no wrong with that. Loved the combination of kimchi fried rice on top of melted cheese that was also complemented by sunny side up. The resulting dish was creamy and cheesy, but I could keep eating it. Also adored the chicken+cheese combo. The spicy chicken itself was not that kind of peppery, spicy flavour that made you cough or gulp too much water, therefore it matched well with the melted cheese. It's also fun to eat as we could roll or dip the chicken into the cheese.
Other dishes were also pretty good. The bibimbap, bulgogi jabchae, and topokki were in big portion and tasted nice. Overall, it was a good place to eat Korean food in CBD, but not for having a relaxed chat with friends :')
