Conveniently located close to the carpark, Phuong Tran and I visit for lunch. We are quickly seated and our order is taken in minutes. Our steaming soup noodles are served in under 10 minutes. PT enjoys her Bun Mam, thick rice noodles served with Seafood and Roast Pork in an Anchovy soup. My Bun Bo Hue is delicious with a generous serve of sliced Beef Brisket and Pork Hock. A very satisfying meal!
Excellent Vietnamese food. The best in Brisbane
My favourite place to eat in Inala. Great little restaurant with very attentive staff. I love the free tea when you receive your menus. Tasty traditional Vietnamese dishes for a very low price point. My favourite is the combination broken rice. At $11 this cannot be beaten!
Located at the Inala plaza, Chac’s Grill can be hard to found as it is located at the very end corner. Came here on Saturday afternoon, the place was packed, but the service was friendly and rather quick.
Ordered Bun Cha Gio Bi (menu no 53). It was tasty; the spices were balanced, not overwhelming, came with a generous portion of meat, spring rolls, and vegetables with such a cheap price. Also ordered the Egg Noodle with pork, which came with separate clear soup, topped with a lot of tender meat, as well as chopped nuts and cilantro.
Overall, a great place to enjoy cheap yet huge portioned food. Would definitely be back here to enjoy authentic Vietnamese meal in the future!
Great prices and value for money, just there isn’t much tables/room as I had to sit with others and there was no fresh chilli to add. But for $15 iced black coffee and combination won ton soup definitely all value for money. Was tasty and hot, not a lot and big bowl but it’s value for money, I’ll come here again.
Had long heard quite a few good things about Chac's Grill, a fairly popular Vietnamese Restaurant in Civic Centre, Inala. Judging by the fairly large crowd outside, we had some high expectations of the food for sure. . Although packed, it didn't take that long for us to get a table, which was a good mark of efficiency that you often get at Vietnamese restaurants. Menus were provided quickly, as was some hot Chinese tea. The menu consisted of everything you would expect from a Vietnamese restaurant with rice, noodles and an assortment of sides.
Air conditioned, comfortable seatings, fast and straight forward service, fresh ingredients, huge serving and very good valued.
Went here with the family for a weekday dinner together.
We ordered duck with clear vermicelli (one portion with separate salad), combination vermicelli noodle salad, and shaking beef noodles.
Each dish was generous in size and had good depth of flavours and freshness.
We also ordered the spring rolls, which were crispy without the oiliness.
Friendly and efficient service (all meals came out in less than 10 minutes). Casual ambience. Reasonable prices.
Overall, a solid restaurant for comfort Vietnamese cuisine.
Service:
We were a group of 6 but not acknowledged upon entry; the waitress was uncourteous and did not serve us until we asked for a table. From there, we were promptly seated.
Given a small flask of tea for a party of six - not enough for more than one cup, which is fine. Asked for another, no acknowledgement of request but we did receive our tea.
Food:
Wait time good, good delivered promptly.
Couldn't fault the taste of the food. It was good. Lemongrass fragrance from the chilli and lemongrass stir fry was strong, though itchy down the throat.
Ginger taste from the ginger and shallot stir fry was lacking.
Rice for 6 served in one big bowl.
Tricoloured dessert was good.
Today we went to a different place for lunch today and this was the place. Wife was lured by the fresh grilling of meat smells coming from this restaurant.
It was busy and just a few spare tables.
Your traditional menu, rice, noodles, soups and stir fry.
We went with viet iced coffee, broken rice combo, vermicelli noodle salad and iced soy.
Not much of service, get seated and come back for an order, similar to other places in this area.
Drinks come out first, and this iced coffee is good, nice balance of coffee to condense milk. Food comes out soon after.
The fish sauce and soups that comes with my rice is a little too salty, but the portions are good for value. 4/5 for my dish. Wife enjoyed hers and mentioned ir was a large serve and could not finish it.
It was an enjoyable meal would go back to try other items.
