This gem is in our locality opposite The Pineapple Hotel. Think it is actually owned by the Hotel. The staff are great & the food is simple, but very well done seafood & chips. Batter is crunchy & not greasy & our cod was cooked perfectly ( they also do crumbed) The accompanying salads are also fresh & tasty

Fantastic fish & chippery/bar. Queenslander converted into a a lovely warm but fresh and modern restaurant. Great food and service. Can highly recommend the gourmet fish finger sandwich.

Simple and delicious food! Good choice of Craft beers on tap. Service was even better. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for beer and fish and chips!

The restaurant itself is a converted Queenslander, well fitted out with a beach-side, simplistic feel to the interior. The bar is a bit more funky with a giant neon sign and there’s plenty of tables around. I ordered the special of the day, the Red Emperor and chose for it to be crumbed with a Greek side salad. I didn’t drink (I know you’re all shocked – ha) BUT they have a big selection at the bar and even nice champagne by the half and full bottle (hello Louis Roederer!) would go down well with some of their fresh oysters if you ask me.

Came here on a Thursday night and had a wonderful time. Very cute place, amazing food, good vibe and some great beer on tap. A great addition to Woolloongabba

Amazing food - beautiful seafood chowder and chicken pasta… but just as amazing was the service. We had a cranky 1yo, and they went out of their way to help us enjoy our dinner. We had ordered takeaway but they set us up outside so we could eat there, food was so quick, well priced and delicious.. and all done with really genuinely friendly service. We appreciate this at the best of times let alone as stressed out parents with hungry little kids!! Thank you so much!

Went to visit @st.jamescrabhouse a while back to enjoy their delicious crab platter goodness. The results speak for itself… we had two mountains of different types of crabs, with potatoes and garlic bread 🤤 Delicious flavours and a great feast of crabs 🦀 Worth a try and visit with the lovely staff

The king crabs and mussels with Singapore chilli sauce are so yum! Jug sized beer is available with reasonable price. Service is good as well.

St James crabhouse deliver a magnificent seafood flavor and one of a kind magic with there sauce. We order a king crab and seafood chowder and it is totally amazing flavor. King crab one of the best in town with Baltimore sauce that blend and mouth watering delicious that I ever experience. A massive excellent perfect recipes to the chef bravo bravo bravo magnificent. And all the staff very accommodating, friendly and lovely caring service . We will surely be back that is for sure together with our friends and family . It is a wonderful amazing seafood restaurant. WE LOVE IT SO MUCH ❤️❤️❤️

Great food, service on point and the cocktails hit the spot. Definitely be back. Back again for the Mother's Day feed and was not disappointed. Great proportions and quality.
