Always excellent food and excellent service. Have been there over and over again for 10 years. Seems to have changed owners but the service has not changed even though the menu has slightly. Still excellent though - highly recommend
This is a great place to eat, for both couples and large groups. We’ve been going there- on a very regular basis - for many years and always find the same combination of delicious food and friendly efficient service. We love the food - you select from a generous assortment of meats, classic stir fry vegetables and spice based sauces and watch the combination being expertly cooked on a large super hot convex grill. It’s healthy, tastes wonderful and is very quick. And you can go back for another serve.
Cheap and easy noodles, and I don’t mean Migoreng. All-you-can-eat-better-than-Migoreng-noodles. There are a decent selection of meats, veges and sauces to mix with your noodles. I did the mistake of putting only meat in, so I ended up not eating all I can.
$12.50 for a takeaway bowl of your choice of meats and vegies all cooked in front of you, yes please! the cook always greets you with a smile and the whole process takes less than 10 mins.
Been here many times before and it's a great place for healthy asian inspired stirfry.
When you arrive and get shown to your table, you can go straight up to the Mongolian BBQ area: take a bowl, choose your meats, then your veges, then your marinades (garlic water, coriander water, ginger water, cooking wine, lemon water, soy sauce, chilli oil, sesame oil etc), then proceed to the giant hot plate, pass your bowl to one of the chefs and in less than a minute watch your food be skilfully cooked with giant chopsticks and masterfully flipped back into a clean bowl ready for you to eat. Add any extra toppings of your liking such as oyster sauce, sweet&sour sauce, sweet chilli, nuts, satay sauce, fresh chillis etc. It's all you can eat so go back as many times as you want!
Weekdays this deal is about $22.50. On weekends its $26.50 but the add a bain marie of unlimited spring rolls, Chinese fried chicken, friend rice and chinese curry in addition to the Mongolian BBQ. Great deal! We went one further and got the $30 deal: unlimitted mongolian bbq, unlimited asian bain marie plus a tia maria chocolate fondue with cut fruit for dessert. Yum!! Great value.
Usually dont need to book but if you are bring a group or visting on a weekend it's probably not a bad idea to call and book. Easy parking in the complex. Beautiful views. May not be ideal for vegetarians or GFs... although you can just choose just veges, it is all cooked on the same hotplate where meat is cooked, and non GF noodles (for gluten free intolerant people).
Sizzling Mongolian BBQ has been around for a while and it hasn't changed over those years, which is not a bad thing.
It's not an authentic Mongolian food experience, but it is nice to be able to pick your items that you want cooked and seeing it cooked before you.
You can choose various ingredients from a display of thinly sliced raw meats (lamb, pork, beef and chicken) and vegetables, and you choose a variety of sauces to add to those ingredients which are then cooked on large, round, solid iron griddles.
In addition, over the weekends there are bain maries with a items like rice, prawn crackers, fried rice, stir fried noodles and curry. We usually only visit the bain maries for the rice.
The interior decor is getting a bit dated, and you may have a wait to get your food cooked on busy nights, but the food is pretty good (especially considering you chose your own ingredients in the quantities you desire).
The price is also quite reasonable for an all you can eat restaurant.
Like someone above said it's not the true Mongolian experience but the all you can eat buffet is great. I've been here numerous times and ate myself silly. Add all the sauces with extra garlic and chilli spice for a zing!
Excellent food. Love it here! The service is always great. Choices for food are limited (you just select some meat and vegetables and then some cooking sauces) but you can mix and match to change the flavours and each dish can be a new experience. Love watching them cook on the big hot plate in front of you - something different! If you want a bit more variety the Friday/Saturday buffet menu offers a lot of extras such as spring rolls, chicken wings, noodles, friend rice, hot chips plus all the regular food. Been here well over 20 times in the past 5 years and will continue to visit!
Awesome views and nice services...The food is so fresh and taste. Forgot to mention the chocolate hot pot. It's so worth for those big eater! Hope to visit it again.
It's not that bad as this price in Brisbane. It's not bad honestly, but a bit more vegetables options might be good coz I was expecting to have some asian veges to have but they don't. There's another advice is cleaning the cooking top every time you guys finished cooking for each costumer please. Went there last time with my bf family, I do love chilly but his family doesn't. They didn't clean the top after cooking mine food, my bf's mother got a spicy bowl but she can't eat much spices so she had to waste her bowl of food.
