Noticed the listing of this cafe in the Zomato app that I have not explored yet so gave it a go yesterday morning.
It located very close to the Bitter Suite in New Farm but only serves take away order due to the pandemic. Service is friendly.
I ordered a almond croissant with pistachio to go with a flat white.
The nice take away cup with its trading name looks good. Coffee of the Black Lab brew gained my appreciation. Almond croissant was slightly let down without warm-up (I prefer to warm it up so I can have more softer texture). However, the first time to have pistachio with an almond croissant did increase the crunchy feeling.

Consistent friendly faces, consistent great fresh savoury options and heaps of delish treats. Their homemade banana bread is something else! The freshest almond croissants - all sourced locally.

This little coffee shop is a delight. They take great pride in their brews & explain the complexities of each. I chose the nitro 4 single origin blend. Great flavor bursts with dominant chocolate. They have a simple breakfast menu & a cabinet of freshly prepared healthy goodies. I stuck with the good old scrambled eggs, which came with a juicy sweet tomato, some greens & gorgeous crunchy bread. Dogs are made welcome with treats & water bowls
Lovely small coffee place. Haven’t tried food yet so rating is just for the coffee. Service friendly and quick. Choice of a couple of bean roasting options
Beautiful little gem of a cafe tucked away in New Farm, we came this morning for a late breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, service, food and coffee.
We ordered the croissant and Mexican blackbean wrap, both were delicious! We'll definitely be back.
Simple easy and friendly! You’re looking for a good place which isn’t overly packed and has great customer service with it’s fantastic food! A cafe that cares! You’re not just a customer you’re a friend.
I had their breakfast wrap! And let me tell you it was a treat! I also ordered a long black. Yum! This place is down to earth and delicious!

Modern look. Welcoming staff. Awesome coffee from a company called black lab that I haven’t tried before. I had a sweet treat that was not full of sugar and still managed to taste like a snickers bar. Winning.
Great place. Used to be "Blurred Coffee" before new management take over. Delicious breakfast options and great lunch specials. Had a lasagne on a bed of vegetables that was very nice and only $12! Nothing else comparable in terms of price and quality in the New Farm area. Plus the best coffee available - Toby's Estate. My new New Farm local!!
Terrific breakfast. I have gotten the farmer's board for breakfast on a few occasions, and it is always quality and filling. Friendly laid back atmosphere, much unlike next door where I once waited 20 minutes to get served and another 20 minutes for my coffee to arrive.
Amazing eggs benedict, solid coffee (could use less sugary chocolate on the cappuccino though). Spectacular value for money and great location to watch new farm wake up.
Not only was the service excellent and quick, but the food and coffee were to die for! This cafe gets a well deserved five stars from me and I will most certainly return for more.
Cafe Phoenix does an amazing Farmers Board which is great and likely when of the best breakfast fares in New farm and they use a great coffee brand.
Best kept secret in New Farm. Affordable, scrumptious, delectable food. And a commitment to ethical responsibility donating some proceeds to mental health support. 👌
Loved all the dishes tonight. Definitely try the raviolli, lamb gnocchi and the SUNDAE!!
