For this first visited, we had:
* box for 2, $32 - seasoned chips, 6 fish pieces, 6 tender calamari, 2 banana prawns, 2 sea scallops, served with lemon wedges + house tartare
* garden salad, $7
The fish used is blue grenadier, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that we got served a bit more than what was stated in the menu (I counted 7 calamari and 3 prawns), so that's always a š There was also some coleslaw (not mentioned in the menu), which complimented the garden salad and contributed to an enjoyable meal with a contrast of flavours and textures plus some health balance š
Service was attentive and thoughtful, with water brought out for the table (including a plastic cup for my son) soon after we took our seats. I had also asked for half the chips to be seasoned and they served the unsalted chips in a separate bowl.
Pretty happy with my meal here, and am keen to return and work through other items in the menu.
Great service! Humble but professional family business. I came in half an hour before they opened, they served me immediately and packed it all in a box due to my large order. Tartare sauce and aioli sauce are good. Cafe ambience is very nice and lovely. Board games are available. Coffee are all reasonably priced !

Came here on Thursday night, the restaurant was empty when I came, and few customers came soon before I left. The place is quite small, with plain white walls and a slight accent of blue-green colour at the counter. 4 Fishies also have some games that you can enjoy while waiting for the food to come out.
Ordered the Hot & Cold Platter. The meal came in a three-tiered tray, which has deep fried options at the bottom, as well as oysters, salmon, and prawns on the top. The seafood was fresh and nicely cooked, perfectly combined with the tartare sauce. The portion size was also nice and fulfilling, worth the price.
I am very happy with the food and service, would definitely come back here in the future!
4 Fishies , A very decent fish and chip shop located at 210 Kameruka Street, Calamvale . I ordered takeaway and it was much better than expected. I ordered blue Grenadier (tasted like typical Cod) , with chips and salad. It was cooked well (nice and juicy), Chips were nicely seasoned and the coleslaw was fresh. Cost $19. Can't complain. I'll have to try it , dine in. Thanks SARDS.
Best fish and chips around. Very family friendly. The boys got kids packs with activities and we had seafood dishes to share. Not only a fish & chips but also seafood restaurant.
Tried for the first time tonight and we were super impressed !!! Fish was fresh and light . I had breadcrumbed Snapper . Calamari was cooked to perfections and crunchy chips. Service is quick and professional . I just wish that Calamari didnāt have garlic in the crumbed seasoning , spoilt it for me but I donāt like garlic . Definitely recommend and will revisit .
This place opened up recently near our place and we had to try it out. It has a 5 star Eat Safe rating which is a excellent start. The store design is fresh and clean. The staff was well trained and knew alot about their seafood. We ordered the seasoned chips, ol school burger and battered Barramundi. Best chips ever! Couldn't fault the burger and Barra was perfectly cooked. The batter was light and thin just the way we enjoy it. Definitely be back to try the Soft Shell Crab Burger.
One word, AMAZING! Have had a lot of fish and chips over the years at various price points, but this one tops them all, yet very well priced. Fishes are perfectly cooked, the chips are amazing, crisp and flavoursome...every time! The raw ingredients are fresh straight from the market for same day consumption not frozen like others, even the lemons are home grown. You get a sense that they're more interested in sharing quality food than about the money.
Hats off to this humble family owned eatery for showing us what fish and chips ought to be when cooked with love.
Our 'go to' place for fish and chips fix...really is worth the travel.
We had a great meal at 4 Fishies. The oysters Kilpatrick were flavourful and good value for money. Grilled and crumbed fish were tasty, well cooked and a good size. Generous serving of chips which were made and served fresh. The banana prawns were small however, so one serving was more of an entree size - it would be good to get more than 6 when the prawns are particularly small. Salads were nice - purple cabbage in the coleslaw added a gourmet touch. We appreciated the hospitality of the staff at 4 Fishies - they were attentive and welcoming. I think I've found my new favourite spot for fish and chips. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!
Fantastic Seafood cafe, and wonderful waitress Melissa who is very helpful and kind to the first time customer. We have the hot and cold platters for two. The platter is well plated and all the fresh or cooked seafood are absolutely delicious. I would recommend everyone to tryouts this restaurant.

The clam chowder is a must try, the pan seared salmon was perfection. Loved the caesar salad and also the sweet potato scallop!

Friendly service and great quality of food, although it is a bit on the expensive side. Definitely recommend their fish burger. The crabby patty wasn't bad, was a bit bland. Fresh seafood was great
Amazing fish and chips. Crunchy chips after taking home. Fish was definitely fresh with fantastic flavour. I got the pack for 1 with the sea scollop with roe included *drools*, an actual banana prawn, two pieces of one of the best crumbed fish Iāve had and surprisingly fresh flavourful calamari. 100% would go back and eat there again. Also damn friendly service :-)
Delicious food. Old school fish and chips with a great variety of dishes on the menu. Stunned at just how good their food tastes.The Fish Tacos are superb. Their Fish Burger would win awards. Highly recommended.
I have to say, best place for seafood. Grilled Salmon was perfectly cooked, that crispy skin, buttery sauce and fresh greens were perfect combination. Fish tacos so tender and fluffy. The flavors so we'll put together. Really loved it!
The fish here was quite enjoyable. It is a decent inside dining area compared to other fish and chips shops. The service was friendly. The fish and chips were pretty good - not too oily, fish was tasty and the chips were good.
The seafood here is amazing and really affordable for what they are. The oysters are the absolute best!! My parents' comments were - they are better than the ones we had in Tasmania. Not to mention the service is second to none, the food came really quick and the staff there are super friendly. Love this place!!
