So so yummy!! My favourite is the tofu bao! Sizzling plates are great too. So fresh and delicious.
Been meaning to make a trip to this place, and finally got around to it and boy was it worth it!
Between myself and my partner we ordered the kimchi fries, fried teriyaki chicken, fried spicy chicken, bulgogi beef and the spicy pork.
The fries were delicious. Perfect fries topped with perfectly pickled kimchi and Japanese mayo...YUM! All the baos were AMAZING! Couldn’t fault any of them. Perfectly seasoned meat with the lightest, fluffiest bao bun.
Definitely going to come again. Well worth it.
Ordered a Korean spicy fried chicken and a pork belly bao. Fried chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned; bao itself was soft and fluffy, and the whole sandwich was balanced with vegetables/herbs to give you this light and fresh overall experience. Really loved this one. Pork belly was quickly pan fried it seems, which gave it a more firm texture (some pieces were a little drier than I would’ve liked but not off putting). It was served on a green bao (I asked and it’s made of broccoli and spinach! For the health nuts, this can justify eating rich and decadent pork belly lol) and balanced with lovely vegetables/herbs. I like the creativity of the vegetable based bao and at the end of the day still prefer the original bao for its texture and ability to keep the sandwich together. Future selections will be prawn, salmon, galbi, and soft shell crab. I’m sure they’ll all be extra tasty!
