My favourite Milton Cafe that consistently serves great coffees year after year. Phuong Tran and I visit for a coffee fix after a heavy lunch at West End. Greeted by the Barista, I ask for a large Cappuccino.
Our Cappuccino is served in under 2 minutes. As always the coffee is intense and full flavoured. A very good coffee rating 4.5! Thank you Tognini’s!
Coffee was amazing and service staff were 10 out of 10 it was a wonderful experience even though today was 34 degrees in Brisbane sitting outside cafe was a beautiful cool breeze very enjoyable
Great good, good coffee in a friendly service in a pleasant covered outdoor setting. The green eggs & ham is unusual but delicious. Check out the deli inside after your meal.

Today I had a friend over and we decided to go for breakfast at Tognini's, I always see it with a lot of people but hadn't been there yet so why not.
The staff was friendly eventhough they seemed busy, they were always walking around and would promptly take orders or answer questions.
We ordered a long black, a flat white, a soy cappuccino, fruit toast with zested cream cheese, woodfired granola with yoghurt and rhubarb, and the triple deck special that the waitress suggested.
The coffee was average, my long black was nicely made and quite strong but wasn't the best one that I have ever tries. The flat white had a lot of foam on it which is not what you are looking for when you order one. The soy cappuccino was okay and had a nice amount of chocolate to it.
On the other hand, the food was way above average. My woodfired granola was really tasty and I would have liked a lot more of it, the only thing I could fault is the amount of yogurt, when I was above over the middle of the dish there was not much yogurt left to help me go through the granola. Would rate it 4/5
The triple deck special was really interesting, I don't quite remember all of the ingredients because I didn't see it on a menu or anything around and can only remember some of what the waitress said and from what I tasted, but I would say it was stuffed with ham, some creamy cheese like cream cheese or ricotta and a nice crust of parmesan on top. It had a really good bite to it and was big enough that my friend didn't even manage to finish it. This one probably scores a 4 or 4.5 out of 5.
The fruit toast hit high marks as well, the bread was not the kind of bread you could buy at the supermarket and toast it yourself, was more on the hipster side, with nice chunks of fruit on it. Also, it was perfectly toasted, not dry, still soft in the middle and crunchy all the way around. The cream cheese was definitely zested and was a perfect addition to this toast as it helped a lot going through the sweetness of it while also giving it some fatness and making it creamy. A 4 out of 5 would probably be a fair score.
So much to choose from here.., deli section with olives, cheeses, meats, dips and frozen and refrigerated meals. Or you can sit in for a coffee and cake or lunch. New area outside the shop covered and protected from the ugly car park there.
They do a mean coffee to drink there or to takeaway. Food on offer includes salads, savoury muffins, lasagnes etc

Cheesecakes, giant cookies, brownies, slices.... heaven!
Diana. Was not expecting much here as I had tried Tognini's in the City & that was nothing special. This turned out to be rather suprising, our breakfast was what you would expect in a tucked away little coffee cafe on the Italian Amalfi coast. Rustic home cooked food, my beans were chock full of chunky vegetables as was the partners savoury mince. Coffee was OK but needed more strength to be perfect.
Good. Had a plate of salad and frittata, and then a vege burger on the side. The food was obviously very fresh and tasted good, but it quite pricey given the small portion size. The service is quick and the staff friendly too.
Cheese paradise. I stopped by the morning for breaky and was tempted with the huge selection of cheese. the staff were all too friendly to advise me and let me taste a selection of goodies. i left a very happy lady. grabbing some very interesting, hard to find cheeses from italy. white truffles in cheese, how can i say no??? yumm
BEST COFFEE EVER!. I've had thousands of coffee's and nothing compares to a coffee from here. I don't know whether its the Lavazza coffee they use here but their barista's need to be given a medal.
I'm very picky about my coffee and if its not right that usually gives me a bad stomach but every time I've had a coffee here its been consistent and goes down soooooo smooth.
If your looking for that 'perfect' cup of coffee this is it without a doubt.
There's an amazing range of deli items and sweet treats here, plus many home made lunch options. They have an excellent range of quality boxed Christmas biscuits and chocolates.
There aren’t really many deli around Brisbane that I can find until I found Tognini. It is a delicatessen and a coffee shop perfect for breakfast, brunch, or in between. The food here is delicious and their coffee excellent. My biggest love is the their large selection of cheese, Oh My Goodness, I was in cheese heaven. If you love cheese, like I do, look no further than Tognini’s.
They have an online shop, they do catering, local delivery, or click n collect, picnic hampers of your choice. They are open 7 days a week.
Always a great coffee. Staff are friendly and greet with a smile and the place has a great atmosphere about it. Tables are promptly cleaned and there's no clutter. It can get a bit busy but I've never had to wait for a seat. I rather the outdoor seating area where there's a breeze and you can sit back and watch the world go by.

Met here for a business lunch and it was a great meet up place. The staff were very super friendly, the meals were very tasty and good value. If you're looking for a place to meet up for lunch, then this is your place.
I usually only get coffee but this time I decided to take my husband in for breakfast and that was a success the breakfast was so good and the staff are very nice. Yummy food. I will definitely be back for more breakfast 😊
I ordered the Picnic Hamper for my mum and it was incredible! Everything was delicious and of the best quality. The staff were absolutely lovely to deal with and very on top of their comms. Mum even said the man delivering it was exceptionally bubbly!
