Well what can I say it,s a cafe... but OMG it's like stepping back to being a child again. The milkshakes are large tasty and served in those huge silver cups, the burgers are massive juicy and home made. The chips are nicely cooked and served with your choice of sauces ( we had the home made aioli ). Of course there is the healthier options, but it was a bit cool and cloudy today soooo. Well you know how it goes. We are looking forward to taking some friends there for lunch or dinner to enjoy the great view and great friendly service... oh and the outstanding food. PS apparently they even sell coffee. đź‘Ť.
Diana. Wonderful friendly service & an expertly poured Elixir coffee, couldn't fault it (I requested it strong though) We had the fish & chips for lunch & it was a gigantic serve. they have a great selection of home made sweets of which I selected the carrot cake. Nice setting & the pooch was made very welcome
Fantastic Food and great services! We stopped in on Sunday on our way to Mt glorious and spent and hour relaxing in the beautiful garden. Worth a visit if you are traveling up the mountain.
Great little day trip, good food and service. Just what we needed after a week of work, enjoyed very much!
Cafe Boombastic!. I have recently become a *big* fan of Cafe Boombana after deciding to stray away from Mt. Glorious. This is definitely the best cafe in the area. The food is not only yummy but also presented beautifully, is homemade and the portion sizes are great value for money. The cafe also serves Elixir coffee (definitely the best coffee in Brisbane). The cafe also boasts beautiful views. I definitely recommend!
Fantastic Food. Great Food and great people! Worth a visit on the weekend fpr a chill out on the way up the range.
Healthy Fabulous Food. We dropped into this cafe on our way up the mountain, thinking we'd just grab a drink for the road and would be having lunch at our usual bikers' hangout up the top. Ended up being seduced by the home-made fillet steak burgers (to die for - just perfect!) followed by the most delicious gluten-free chocolate cake I've ever eaten! We had stopped there in the past and it was nothing special, but I think there must have been a change of owners, because the menu is just awesome! Beautiful cakes, great coffee and such a pretty place to sit and chill. We'll be back!
Wonderful for a weekend breakfast. Stunning view from the back deck. The quiet punctuated by bird calls. Nestled in the forest but easy to find and there’s plenty of parking. Great food and rustic mountain vibe. Family friendly. Lots of outside seating areas.
A definite must stop visit and enjoy the great food and location. The view off the back balcony is stunning while you eat and drink your coffee. Sarah went above & beyond with accommodating us with our meal. THE BEST Poke bowl ever. Sarah is very personable, knows the area very well, runs her business very well. I couldn't fault it in any way if i had to. I look forward to my next visit to this lovely Cafe in the Mountains. Thanks again Sarah.
Great place to stop and have coffee after we finished our hike. Cheeky Kookaburras stealing food only made the visit more special. Friendly staff great surroundings.
A cute little cafe hidden away in Mount Nebo. Sit outside on the deck or in the front yard - beautiful garden outlook with birds and a lake.
Stunning views and such a friendly vibe, ordered a holumi burger which came with no from of sauce or dressing on it and needs it, cheese cake was amazing and a generous serve, our hummingbird cake serve was barely anything and served as if it was a slice so very thin. Chips were freaking amazing
Beautiful view from the deck, good coffee and simple, tasty food.
Beautiful little spot in the mountains. Plenty of sitting area and glorious views. Seems like family owned with smiles and friendly people. We had a few vegetarian options for lunch and they readily suggested and helped us over. Nachos, fries and milk shakes for kids. Watch out for friendly and some naughty kookaburras if you are eating out in the open. There is an old piano which the kids just loved for the 1 hour we spent there. Enough parking on site for a out 10 cars.
Loved the food and plenty of it. Very quaint and tucked on the side of the road just when you need to stretch your legs and get refreshed
