When I had the breakfast at The Lazy Dog Cafe last month, I was enticed by the sign of this cafe. Therefore, I made a special trip to visit this place this morning. Well, it really took me a while to find a parking around the industrial precinct that it was located even as early as before 7:00am. Walked in and found a queue of customers waiting for Take-Away orders. Ambience was comfortable but there were only three tables occupied that might due to too early or the parking problem. I believe that this cafe must be very busy during lunch by judging the set-up and the degree of sophistication of the staff. I have to say the coffee was the best so far that I had in Newstead but the cup is slightly smaller than expected. It is definitely the strategy to "entice me" returning. Clever!

The food is always delicious. I usually pop by in the morning and get a chicken and avo toastie. Anna is very cheery and seems to make everyones morning brighter.

Diana. Just loved the smoothies & the fact you can mix up your own weird or wonderful concoctions. Negatives were our bean salads, which came with a perfectly cooked piece of salmon, were a let down. They had pink grapefruit added which may have been OK had the grapefruit been sweet, but unfortunately they were really bitter & overpowered the delicate salmon.
