Melt Brothers is located in Post Office Square food court area. Specializing in cheese toasties, they provide quick, fulfilling and cheap eats. Tried their M.C. Cheesy. The bread themselves were bigger than your average sandwich and toasted nicely. Loved the sweet and savoury combination in M.C. Cheesy, provided by maple bacon and mac and cheese. The bacon itself was quite thick and the stringy mozzarella cheese came quite nicely. Overall it was a satisfying meal.
I do love a cheese toastie and Melt Brothers nestled in Gresham Lane deliver a good cheese toastie!š§
Thereās not too much to say really, bread good. Cheese good. Mustard good. Potato gems added in even better. Itās a great simple sandwich and I love that I can use EatClub and get a cheeky 20-30% off of my order when I want a quick brekky.
My only piece of feedback I would love to provide because, I love a simple toastie would be to make the toastie bigger, better and improve it. I would love something that I couldnāt make at home you know? Something that takes the toastie to another level. Even having truffle cheese or making a 3 layered toastie so you have bread, cheese, bread, cheese and bread to close it off - now that would be insane!š
Overall, Melt Brothers deliver a mean toastie that tastes great.
Melt Brothers is a great spot to grab Brisbane's ultimate toasted sandwich. Think stretchy cheese + fresh bread + great ingredients. The mac and cheese toastie and potato tots are a popular choice.
Pleasantly surprised with the interesting flavour combos. Decided to go with the migoreng crazy (decided to be adventurous). can't say eating noodles with bread was on the top of my list but hot damn it was delicious. Also grabbed a coffee, can say that melt bros make a mean flat white.
This place is quite literally unbelievable. It is the king of possibly the most delicious food that exists. Staff = always friendly and cheerful, Coffee = exceptional, and the tater tots? wow, just, wow. Do yourself a favour, eat and drink anything from this joint
Great service, even better food. I enjoy the vibe there, everyone's always friendly and helpful. There are lots of cool creations on their menu and I love to check out the monthly specials they have on. They also have vegan and gluten free options which was handy for me.
I had the In Da Club the other day and it was AMAZING!!!! The maple bacon and roast chicken were both so tasty and the mayo with it worked perfectly. Also I got the loaded tater tots, which are the best things ever!! Would definitely recommend!!
You can tell the owners care about this place. Much like the Garden City store, just a good venue to swing by, grab a coffee and an MC Cheesy or Morning Glory and get on with your day.
Great quick and easy store to grab a quick feed during whether it be during breakfast lunch or dinner. Good food, good service what more could you want
Melt Brothers is my go-to when looking for a reasonably priced and delicious feed. Make sure you order the toastie with mac & cheese and maple bacon (that's right). The loaded tater tots are also to die for. Cheap & decent quality coffee, and good happy hour deals.
Well worth the trip into the city. I took the train in specifically to visit this shop after learning about it the weekend before. I arrived at lunchtime, it was clearly a very popular choice for lunch breaks. Asking the staff for their recommendation, I had a breakfast toastie, it was incredible! I canāt wait to return and try more things on the menu. It was ever so wonderfully cheesy. I will be back!
One of the best, if not, the best toastie I've had.
My only complaint is that there was a tiny amount of avacado at the bottom of my sandwich box.
Well priced, fast and great staff.
Can't fault this place. Very tasty, price is decent quality was good.
If you love cheese and toasties, this is your place. Even comes in vegan and gluten free options for those who lean that way.
I hope to come back here again at some point!
Who knew mac and cheese would be so good in a toasted sandwich? This was contained in my first toasted sandwich from Melt Brothers and I was well fed afterward.
The portion size is larger than an average toasted sandwich, but not too large, so most would still be able to finish it, which I definitely appreciate as I hate leaving food on the plate! The maple bacon was a nice addition to my sandwich too. At first I was a bit hesitant to have it, but the subtle taste of the maple in there was actually quite nice!
I love that this place is situated in a nook of the city like a hidden gem as well and the atmosphere of the place is cosy. The service is friendly and prompt too.
Now that I finally found the place and know how long it takes to walk there from Queen Street, I will definitely be visiting for often for my cheesy toasted sandwich fix.
