Beautiful fresh food and fantastic and friendly service
The interior fairly basic and welcoming, the restaurant radiated positive energy and I was promptly led to my table after entering. The service was amazing and provided water and miso soup without me asking. The miso soup tasted wonderful and I ordered a chicken katsu bento box, which was absolutely delicious. The chicken was crunchy and pleasantly flavoured and the edamame beans were perfect. The bento box came with sweet potato chips and a deep fried prawn, all of which were delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone, especially if you're fond of traditional Japanese food! I'll definitely go back whenever I can because the entire meal was absolutely delicious.
Had a yummy chirashi bowl for lunch. Service was quick and the team are attentive. Seafood was fresh, would definitely return. Delighted that bulimb a has upped its Japanese joints.
Really was impressed by this place. Staff were friendly and prompt, the interior great and we loved the food. Ate here twice last week- had the ginza set and bento box. Both times the serves were large, sushi was fresh, teriyaki chicken so tasty, the salad had an unusual corn dressing which I loved, tempura was crunchy and light and the presentation was beautiful. I've read that some people thought it was a little more expensive than other restaurants on Oxford street but honestly, when you look at sizes of their serves and taste the quality of the food - it really is good value. Will be back again for another quick weekend lunch
Had the pleasure of being invited to the pre opening tasting at Ginza House, a new Japanese restaurant opening along the ever bustling Oxford Street at Bulimba a few weeks ago. Adam was also invited, and we decided to go together after I finished work. Although Bulimba isn't too easy to get to via public transport, it was undeniable that the ferry ride was a very enjoyable way to unwind.
Excellent experience. Came here on Christmas Eve when the majority of places were shut. Clearly new and looking to make an impression. Sashimi and Nigiri were exceptional. Highly recommend trying this place
The food is some of the freshest out there.
So many dishes that I wish to recommend to friends! I normally despise salad but the Shabu Shabu Salad was fantastic. 😍 I got to taste the cod fillet and the ishiyaki wagyu beef as well which ended up becoming my faves though.
Staff are so kind - super friendly environment.
Also it helps that it's pretty and the gentle jazz music is a nice touch 😉
Amazing for a Japanese cuisine place. They've got something for everyone. Will definitely be coming back with more friends!
Sushi and sashimi are both tasty and fresh. Lunch specials are really good value. Definitely recommend the bento boxes. Only downside for us was the chicken karaage which was a bit on the sweet side for our taste.
We've been walking past thing place for a while and decided to give it a try and we were so glad we did... Tasty good quality food with great service. We got the tasting platter to share and you couldn't fault it; there was a bit of everything and it was all so nice and a really reasonable price. We will definitely be back.
Their lunch specials are affordable but by no means "cheap". I wanted to give 4.5 stars but Google wouldn't let me. Would've given 5 stars but the last time I came here the bentos came with ebi tempura, not ebi furai like what I got in my bento today. But I can't complain, really. I have yet to find a Japanese restaurant other than Ginza that offers a complete, delicious, and good quality bento for only $10!

Went with my gf and we got udon, italian sushi roll and wagyu. It was amazing, great food, staff and atmosphere. The best Japanese restaurant in Bulimba!
