Simple takeaway chinese place, nothing fancy to look at. Mostly take away orders but we like to eat in where we can eat the food as soon as it's been freshly cooked. Afterall, we are trying to be environmentally ethical (no plastic containers and bags that take years to break down). And we can even walk there!!
We ordered the banquet for $45:
Special fried rice - 8/10
Mongolian beef 8/10, tasty & lots of veges
Honey chicken 8/10, very light batter, moist chicken pieces
Sweet & sour pork - 8/10, not usually a fan because its battered but again very light with decent sized meat portions & decent anount of veges.
We enjoyed it and ate it all up!

Haven't been here in a while, but, it was always pretty good, so, decided to go back and give it another try, and was not disappointed.
Opted for the Value Pack, "A", which consisted of Mongolian Beef, Honey Chicken, Sweet And Sour Pork and a Special Fried Rice.
They were very generois portions, and everything was extremely fresh and tasty, the meat was very tender, the veges were very crisp, the batter was not old, and not too thick, plus the fried rice had a nice caramelized flavour to it, but, it was a little but basic and could maybe do with some Bamboo Shoots, some BBQ Pork, or some Baby Shrimp
We thought that we might need some take away containers later on, (as we weren't that hungry), but we didnt end up needing any, because once we started eating, we couldn't stop and actually ate the whole lot
We love soy sauce with our rice, but the brand they use was really very strong, (Lee Kum Kee?), so we were extremely thirsty afterwards.
A great place to purchase quick, fresh, healthy and tasty Asian cuisines. I like it! The Won Ton noodle soup that I ordered for dinner was of a very large proportion and it was extremely tasty, too!
They also feature a daily lunch special that is of great value.
Food was tastely and the price are not too expensive. I have Indonesian fried rice extra spicy and it was nice and spicy. Will be back next time
My friends and I headed to Stones Corner for dinner after work, and after sussing out a couple of other options in the area we found this place. While we weren't immediately drawn in by the exterior of the restaurant, we decided to give it a shot.
The staff were quite accommodating with individual tastes, and there were no complaints about the food. That said, I did find that their "medium" heat in the nasi goreng was a stronger "medium" than I'm used to, but this is a good thing for those who like it hotter (and just something that I'll bear in mind for the future).
Fabulous. Cheap prices, quick friendly service and food that tastes amazing. I mean seriously, takeaway of this quality should cost twice what it actually does. Don't take my word for it, see for yourself!

Friendly owners and decent food. I've been working in stones corner for 2 years and go here at least once a month. Best days to go are usually thursday/ friday when the owners have got fresh vegetables so you know your meal is always fresh. The steamed or fried dim sims are amazing and handmade so you know they are always going to be good. The chicken and cashews lunch special is tasty and always has plenty of cashews but my favourite is the chicken omlette, plenty of chicken, could use a bit more vegies and plenty of egg, I always ask for extra sauce because they sauce is really yummy - not sure what kind it is kind of a mix between a very mild honey, soy and something else. Usually very quick when you are ordering except on a busy day when it can sometimes take 15 minutes to get your food. Otherwise good service an nice atmosphere
Edit** 28/3/13 - Their prices have gone up about a dollar for almost all of the food and to be honest not entirely sure if it is exactly worth it anymore - $4 for 2 small dim sims regardless of how awesome they are is a bit much
A hidden gem! Great value and excellent quality- so light, fresh and full of flavour. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed
We have been visiting Golden Palace Chinese Restaurant for more than a year and everytime the experience has been good. Great menu options for both non-vegeterian and vegetarian food. The food is delicious and so reasonably priced. The interior and decor is appealing. Great service, the staff is polite and friendly. The restaurant is located right is heart of Fortitude valley and is easily accessible from any corner of Brisbane. Must visit for authentic chinese food.
Good array of food options, very tasty
Had lunch here and everything was pretty good. The service is generally good, was a bit up and down this trip but enjoyable to sit and chat in between servings.
The options are pretty extensive, and very tasty, with a decent options for sides with the main dishes. would go again as it is priced pretty reasonable also.

We went here for a special occasion to meet family we haven’t seen for ages. The food was beautiful. The location was vibrant and service was great. We enjoyed the large portions of quality food.

We have been coming here regularly for a while and every time has been a pleasure. The food is always first rate, as is the service. Best of all, it's like stepping back in time to my childhood. This place has an old school grandeur that isn't forced or pretentious. It just is what it is, and it is amazing.
Yum cha here was great! Seems they don't wheel trollies of delights around any more (shame). On the upside, ordering from the menu meant the dishes came out hot straight from the kitchen. So delicious, so well priced. Excellent, friendly service.
Excellent experience at this restaurant. The wait staff were efficient, freindly and attentive. They were accommadating to the vegan and gluten free members of our group and happily helped us serve and decorate the birthday cake we brought in. Beautiful classic chinese restaurant decorum. Would recommend for large family gatherings and business dinners.
