BEST CORN FITTERS IN BRIS

I used to come here for coffee when I worked nearby but now I’ve moved and have few opportunities. Except today was unexpectedly early so thought I’d cash out my free coffee which I’ve been hoarding for months. Decided to go the full brekkie with the corn fritters (with side of bacon). Omg I had forgotten how good these are. Even though they are vege I’m sure they’re super naughty cause they taste crispy fantastic. The bacon is always good quality and well cooked to just my liking.

Coffee is pretty good too.

I would give it 4.5 stars but can’t figure out how....
I have now revised it to 5.

I get lunch here a few times each week. Usually the salads, which are the best I’ve found in the Brisbane CBD. Everything I’ve tried here has been really good including the coffee and sticky chai. I wish there were more lunch options in the CBD of this quality.

When I tell people that Modern Hunter has the best pork belly in Brisbane, they tell me that's a pretty big call. Yes it is because there is some fierce competition from the many renowned fancy/expensive restaurants in Brisbane CBD. I promise you though, Modern Hunter has consistently perfect pork belly. Soft and tender, and crispy crackling on the edges. So tasty. It's only $15 and comes with up to 3 salads which are always very creative and full of exciting things! My favourite is the pear and walnut salad! Located in Gresham Lane off Queen St (or off Adelaide Street from the other side). You will be so thankful you read this review!

Great new little place tucked in Gresham Lane. Have really enjoyed the Chef's house made goodies like gin cured salmon and duck pie with his interesting ever-changing salads (crunchy legumes... surprisingly yum!). He also makes a serious ham & cheese toastie!

Found this place after I had a meeting in the city. Guy that served me was really nice and made me a really good sandwich. Also the space was very cool.

Great little cafe tucks away in a lane way in Brisbane CBD. Good coffee and the bacon & egg roll is one of the best I’ve ever had.

The salad and coffee that I get a few times a week from these guys are exceptional. Definitely stop by when you are close. Highly recommend it. 7 of 5 stars

Honestly not a big fan of salad in the morning, and was not super appetised looking at them, tried anyway, and so glad I did. All super tastey and disappeared in front of me. Coffee here is also top notch!

Super friendly Cook! Great salads and nice coffee. The best thing for me are the pork Belly burgers, and I really like the pies they made in house as well. Definitely deserves five-star rating.

By far the best place in Brisbane for lunch. The chef makes the best creative healthy salads, good portions and great value. Lovely caring and friendly service.

Love this little hidden cafe. They offer a great variety of fresly made salads. My favourites are the fritters and the delicious brownies. Probably the best brownies I have ever had.
