We live locally and was just in the App looking at the menu for options in addition to the fantastic Special Fried rice we get often. So wanted to Review them which I should have done ages ago.
Lovely people, mum dad and 2 grown up sons. They’ve been there since boys were born. Great old fashioned Chinese.
Although this is not our closest Chinese take away we find ourselves returning because the food is so good. Yes it is old school chinese takeaway away from your childhood but when done well it is delicious and Hong Kong Palace have been around for over 30 years for a reason! Combination omelette, sweet and sour pork and special fried rice are all winners.
Amazing food!! Everything is so fresh and flavoursome! I've only ever had take away and it's always so quick. Never disappoint at this amazing find!

Fried Rice - has adequate ingredients and a lovely taste.
Price - $21 total. More than acceptable for decent chinese :-)

Always delicious. I've been coming to Hong kong palace for years now and it is still the best chinese food in town. The staff are very friendly and the food is always fresh and tasty, and great value. Takeaway is just as good. Reccommend!

Went here on a Friday night; relaxing; Byo restaurant. Got the chilli pork chop, satay chicken and friend rice was absolutely amazing and would go back again.

Well priced and tasty. I did not expect much as the place looks a bit dodge from the outside but positive reviews convinced me to go try it. I got the garlic prawns and the vegetarian fried rice, the garlic prawns were just that- prawns in a garlic sauce, it was nice however I disappointed that there were no vegetables with them. The vego fried rice was lovely, chunky carrot, baby corn with egg which exceeded my expectations

Best restaurant in the area. The fried rice is a meal all on its own.
I’ve been eating at the Hong Kong Palace since my 16th birthday - 38 years ago and it’s still our go-to takeaway every month despite moving elsewhere, then returning with a husband & child. It’s inexpensive, the beef & seafood dishes are excellent, tender & flavoursome. They serve a large variety of lamb & chicken meals. The soups and all the entrees are very filling with decent portions. Guests from overseas are stunned at the great quality, personal service & speed of service.

I really liked, I didn’t expect that from that restaurant because I look old but the food was very nice.
Also they gave me a bag of some kind of fried triangles that I didn’t order... 👏🏻
Fantastic Chinese takeaway that's been around for ages, the couple that run it are really friendly. The food is always good and really cheap. I love the sweet and sour pork. It's mainly a takeaway and nobody is ever sitting inside so there is always seating available when i go in.
