Went here for weekend brunch with the partner.
We ordered the 'battered flake with small chips' ($12 with extra $1 for larger piece of fish) to take away. The battered fish was crispy, hot and moist albeit a bit oily. The chips weren't as crisp, however were piping hot and generously portioned.
Casual ambience with outdoor seating available and nearby parkland area for picnics. Friendly service and reasonably efficient (a little longer wait at 15-20 minutes). Reasonable prices for portions offered. They also displayed the country of origin for the seafood served.
Overall, a reasonable fish and chips shop. Despite the longer wait, the food appeared fresher and well-cooked compared to nearby fish and chips option.
Simply what you want in fish and chips. Fast and reliable service - waterfront view. Always had tasty meal. Certainly not overpriced. They do a good job.
Best value fish and chips on the bay! Generous serves, fish is always perfectly cooked. Huge winner with me and the hubby and the ice cream is to die for! Highly recommend.
It’s about what you’d expect for price. You won’t be disappointed but you aren’t getting anything special. Good value compared to nearby shops. The chips were slightly underdone but otherwise okay.
Decent fish n chips, only a little over fair market price but with only 2 stores a stone's throw away from the popular part of Wynnum Jetty & park it's not too bad. The chips could of been a 10/10 if left to cook for another 30 seconds instead 6/10. Great service system though, that gets a 10/10.
We are new to the area and stopped in after a walk. Chips were perfection! We got extra large for three adults and two kids and still couldn’t finish them, potato scallops were awesome too!
Delicious and affordable fish and chips in very filling portions. 🐟 Friendly and quick service. Plenty of seating available indoors and outdoors. Street parking available nearby. A short walk to the pier.
This place is fantastic!!! The calamari is hand cut, super cheap, and way more than 6 rings when you order 6 rings. Chips always fantastic too :) :)
The three of us enjoyed the $26.80 Dinner Pack with 3 pieces of beautiful crumbed cod! 3 seafood bites & 3 calamari rings plus chips! Plus a 2 litre Sunkist!
However we forgot to add a seafood sauce & the lady said it was a minimum transaction of $5.00! So that was disapiointing! At least there was 3 wedges of lemon to squeeze over the fish & chips! We were charged 5cents per plastic cup!♥️🐙🦋 Then 3 people came & ordered & were quoted $5.00 for a plastic cup!
