I thought I would add a review as most of the ones on here are very old. This is a little family run cafe. The food is always excellent and well prepared, and very good value for money. I have ordered the grilled chicken salad which was lovely, I enjoyed the fetta and avocado on toast with two poached eggs (I think about $14) a few times, and my new favourite is the chicken grilled burger which is on focaccia bread and amazing ($8.50). I have also bought home made sandwiches which as super fresh. They have freshly squeezed juice for $5.50 which is very good but if you don't like ginger ask for less or no ginger as that can be strong. Home made cakes. If you are wanting a hearty meal that is home made at a good price, with a good range to order, and want to judge a cafe based on being homely instead of being modern, this is your cafe to visit. :-)
I spot this Cafe walking to my car and decide on a quick coffee. Walking in, I am taken back to the 1990’s as the decor hasn’t been refreshed in two decades. More importantly, this Cafe is clean and I am warmly greeted.
My Cappuccino is surprisingly good, served hot and strong with a hint of bitterness. This Byron Bay coffee blend almost rates a 4.5! Well done to the Barista!
We are regulars here. Simple but delicious food. Great Byron bay company coffee. Recommend the lamb and hallomi burger, chicken burger or breakfast wrap. Friendly family run cafe. Great local community place.
A beautiful family run business. Lovely staff, delicious food with a smile. Can cater to special dietary requirements. A family favourite for years. Outdoor tables also available.
I love this simple little place which is always full people from the area, the food is great and so is the service all at good value! would rather come here than go across the road.
Best meal ever. I had the Mediterranean chicken with garlic, and my friend had the Mediterranean grill. The food was like a home cooked meal, not like the greasy stuff you get from most cafes these days. It was fresh, tasty, mouthwatering and healthy. The portion sizes are perfect and it was value for money. If I could eat here everyday I would!!
You have to try the Mediterranean flame grilled garlic chicken with salad! Huge serving, comes with tabouli, tangy hummus, Greek salad pita bread. My partner had the flame grilled lamb burger last time and wanted to come back the day after. The owner is very friendly and his serving are big! Great value for money. Lots of healthy and delicious options at this place.
Best BLT sandwich I have eaten in a long time. Definitely coming back for more.

However for me, I would say it is anything on the menu from Mediterranean Flames!!!!!
I enjoyed a late big breakfast with a very nice Coffee. The others in the group enjoyed their meal! Service was good.
This is hands down the best little cafe in Brisbane . Incredible food and coffee. the owners are lovely . A real gem .

Don't let the unpretentious decor put you off trying this excellent cafe. Mary and Neil have never disappointed over several years, even when very busy.
The burger with the works has become my usual- suggest skipping breakfast before having one. The kebabs are also very nice.
