After brekkie at the Krave and have finished a meeting around the corner of the shopping centre, I felt like to have another cup of coffee so dropped to this café to get a take-away flat white. Since my first visit, this café left me a quite good impression - prime location and good coffee. Parked my car off street and walked to the little window to order my take-away. Barista was very friendly this time and I was lucky to have another strong coffee in Aroma brand, which is one of my favourite. Will definitely return in the future. Cheers! :)

Whenever I drive along the Kedron Brook Road, this café always catch my attention. After I read the up & down comments from other foodies, I decide to go for an exploration. Arrived 7:00am this morning, there was already a table occupied inside the café, approached the counter and I was served by a male staff. No passionate smile or friendly greeting but he was not rude (may be a quiet person). Placed orders for flat white and a dish of banana bread with ricotta & honey (first time to have such combination). Took a seat outside the café and it did not take long to have the coffee on the table. Well, a nice latte art with a strong strength looking content in a white Aromas coffee cup and a green saucer (Love this combination of colour). My gut feeling was proved correct that the coffee was really strong enough for my palate. Next came in the dish of banana bread, which was presented with the ricotta on top of the banana bread with honey and accompanied with blueberries. Love the blueberries which were sweet and refreshed the whole dish. In addition, the slightly toasted banana bread with crunchy edges also won my appreciation. Honestly, not quite like the ricotta but personal taste buds only. Overall, not a bad place to have a relaxed brekkie.
To be honest, I was surprised by this place. After placing my order with the girl behind the counter who was very, very rude, I thought 'what have I done?!' but the food was actually really good. Most places always over scramble your eggs but these were perfect and my coffee was great, and all for really cheap as well!
