Finally a restaurant that has you rushing to post a review for ALL THE RIGHT reasons! What a Gem this place is! Went on a Friday night to find the service exemplary, the atmosphere comfortable and pleasing, and the food; well for a husband who is always banging on about table manners and not chewing your bones ("disgusting") I was so surprised by his lack of all such things being overwhelmed by how delicious all the food, especially his Tbone was (I saw him chew the first and only bone in his life and I had to beg him to stop embarrassing me in public haha) I couldn't eat all my main due to being stuffed from sharing 2 amazing entrees and cocktails, and was saved any imagined humiliation when the attentive service approached me knowingly and considerately assisted me to take the 95% of my almost untouched meal home without fuss. There is not a thing I could fault with this restaurant, in fact after writing this I can't resist booking a table for tonight, its that good!! Great Success.
Very good authentic Mexican restaurant. Great decor and ambience accompanied by superb friendly service. Food is fresh, tasty and arrives quickly. Would recommend for a good feed on authentic Mexican grub :) yum
We have been dining at StLucia for years and never even looked at the mexican restaurant as its "down stairs" and not on the street front. What a shock ! This place is awesome, just like being at a mexican restaurant in San Diego ! Great staff and the food was fantastic. everything is made on the premises even the corn chips. so they told us. give it a go, I will be telling everyone I know about this one, top marks!!
Really lovely staff, made us feel welcome and brought food/menus/drinks over promptly. Excellent margaritas and food was tasty although the portions were maybe a little too large. Enchiladas were delicious with a good amount of sour cream and guacamole although could do with some tomato or some kind of acid flavour to balance out the cheese and chicken. My friend really enjoyed their meal too and we were happy diners. Would come back here for lunch!
Went here recently with a Groupon voucher and was so happy to have discovered such a little hidden gem! The staff were super lovely and attentive and the food delicious! The decor was cheeses but fitting - was a lovely experience!
Best Latin-american & Mexican food in Brisbane. The food improved drastically after they changed the owner recently (1 year ago). Worth checking out!

Could not wait to report this review on such a surprising experience. Went there for dinner with Groupon last Saturday night. Service was exceptional good and I can see the passions of whole working team in welcoming diners with special deal for introducing the Latin cuisine. We ordered the entrees of Mexican Street Corn and Chicharrones (Crispy Pork Belly). Corn was sweet and the Pork Belly was done with deep-fried and then steamed and deep-fried again so there was no greasy feeling but crispy skin and soft texture pork meat. Then we ordered the mains of T-bone and pork ribs. Again, T-bone was done with expected med-rare and the "Yuca" was superb, it was so crispy with soft texture. The traces of spiciness from the chorizo accompanied with the dish was a surprise. Pork ribs dish was the best that I ever had, which served in soft texture with slightly chewing feeling, particularly when you cross-cut the pork ribs with broken cartilages left in between. The sweet & sour tamarind sauce was the hero to bring the whole dish to another level. Overall, the ambience, the food, the service are all faultless. Don't wait, there are still plenty of voucher left for you to try.... Have a nice experience.....

Was extremely surprised at how generous the portion sizes were, and the quality of the food was great.
We also ordered a few tequila margaritas which were excellent - one of the nicest drinks i've had!
Menu was well priced and had a great range to choose from. Know where i am going next time i want Mexican!
Excellent and traditional food. This is one of the best places I've eaten real Mexican food and the prices are OK for the big portions you receive.
Pretty yummy food and great ambience. Went there the first time and got a Chimichanga, which was incredibly filling, though I got a little sick of it at the end. The second time I went, I got the Quesadillas which were really good and made me fall in love with the dish. However, this time, we also ordered a fish dish and it wasn't very fresh at all. Apart from that, all our food was pretty good.
The most Amazing crispy pork belly that I have ever had!! The vibe of the place is cheery and colorful, with lots of fun decor. Our waitress was lovely and accommodating~!
Quite good Mexican food, sizzling fajitas were delicious with lots of ingredients, they came nicely presented too. Nice decor around the shop, there are good specials on certain days of the week. Got the sizzling fajitas half price one night of the week.
Best Mexican I've had to date. Will always make a point of dining here for good, tasty, well-cooked food. The staff are happy as ever and their dishes are full of unique flavours!
Absolutely fantastic! The closest thing to real latin american food you'll get in Brisbane. The food was incredibly tasty. The restaurant is also very warmly decorated. Highly recommend!
Absolutely delicious. Top drawer food and really friendly service. The only downside is that I am now so fat that I needed rolling out like a barrel!
