Mum likes normal lattes but I prefer coffee a bit stronger. This cafe serves coffee alongside a little cup of espresso, so you can tailor the strength of your cup to your liking. So the two of had the same order, but we both got the strength we wanted. Not to mention that the coffee was fantastic!

Finished an early meeting @ Griffith Mt Gravatt and rushed to work. However, I discovered caffeine level in my body was down so dropped in this nearby espresso for re-fill. It was the first time that I had take-away order from this place but the coffee kept its consistent standard. The only thing that I have missed was the extra espresso that accompanied with my flat white….I really miss it!

Dropped in this café after meeting @ Griffith University Mt Gravatt Campus. In fact, nothing has been changed including the friendly service from the owner, nice cup of flat white and importantly the extra espresso accompanied with the order. I just love the way that the owner being so hospitable... a nice place to have a coffee break!

Prior to the meeting at Griffith University, I dropped in this café to have a cup of coffee. It is not the first time that I have coffee here. I always appreciate the friendly and sincere owner who will prepare an extra shot of expresso beside my cup of coffee so I can adjust the strength to my own palate. This passionate attitude is a lot better than some of the cafés. Those cafes always claim that their coffee can be made stronger up to my preference. Well, I don't understand that how can I know if they make a weak coffee before I have the first cup?

Was pleasantly surprised with this tucked away little cafe. Walking in the entrance you are greeted by the sight of floral bouquets in all their colorful glory, instantly lifting your mood on a grey day. The coffee is Coffex & I have had a few bad experiences with this blend in the past, however this was so smooth & creamy & was actually served with an extra shot on the side without paying or even asking for it. What a brilliant idea! I think this idea should be patented because I can never get a coffee that is strong enough for my taste & with that shot on the side it was just perfection. Hence I am giving this cafe a score of 5.0 just for that even though it was served in a paper takeaway cup (which I hate!!)

My wife and I live nearby and love to visit this humble lovely place. The owner is an attentive and consistent proprietor who always gives little extras with your purchases, including extra shots on the side with coffees, and extra tea. He remembers what we like and how we like it. The selection of muffins and pastries are brilliant and entirely delicious. We eat at a lot of cafes and although this isn't a sit down meal sort of cafe, if you want a good coffee and a sweet treat this is an excellent option. Parking is never a problem and it is a peaceful location where conversation is easy.

Andrew - Honestly the most friendliest barista I know! Coffees are given with a free side of extra shot and perfectly frothed milk to be enjoyed by customers as they can adjust their coffees accordingly. (He said it was so his customers could enjoy their experience at his shop!) Prices are $3.50 for a small and $4 for the large (doesnt matter whether it's a mocha, chai latte, hot chocolate!) And a Coffex blend is used. Such friendly service too, flowers are randomly given to take home when we visit (yes it's a lovely little florist as well!) Can see why the locals love Andrew, just have a look at his Facebook page and all the comments he gets from his customers. Have actually seen first hand customers bringing in their finished cups to help him clean! The place itself is in the suburbs, a hidden gem so to speak. It's a great place to catch up with friends or just relax alone in a tranquil environment without the hustle and bustle.
Friendly service, consistent coffee, cheap prices, open 7 days... Not sure what else you would need really!

The owner was happy, energetic and always smiling. The coffee was uniquely presented. It came with an extra shot of coffee and milk in case we wanted a stronger coffee. The coffee was nice and strong.

I live around the corner from this little gem.  We have several very good coffee shops within a short drive, or a long walk.  However, this is the best by far, not only for convenience, but also friendliness of service, attention to detail, and surprising gifts of flowers from Andrew (the owner) for my daughters.  The coffee is Coffex, and Andrew brews it perfectly.  There is a small but varied range of cakes to accompany your coffee, and Andrew is open long hours, from early to late, to accomodate the locals.  I have met several friends, and family, there for a coffee. They also go away happy with their coffee and the service...and some of them are coffee conneisseurs!

Best Florist Espresso Bar - Mount Gravatt, Brisbane. In this small part of the world, just a turn away from the highway - feeling like it is in a completely different part of town - what is now a lone business in a sad looking bunch of empty shops is this oasis of calm. Amongst the suburban backstreet, this is one of the best kept secrets around town. There is a steady lot of clientele, so it looks like this place is in for the long haul and so it should be.

While what the owner started off with is not that much, he made lemonade from what there was. From it, he made something with a kind and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. As it probably can be told, this is a combination of a flower shop and an espresso bar. Although it looks a little dank from standing outside, the The flowers are well chosen providing a lovely scent (doubling with the brilliance of the distinct coffee aroma) and a few tables are placed around the pavement with umbrellas. Taking the well-meaning service into perspective, this has a quiet, lovely aesthetic to it.

My dining buddy and I took out the baby one day for a bit of supervision, and to find a good new coffee place that was nearby. After some searching and consideration of proximity, it was decided that this would be the location of choice. This little espresso bar does not pretend to be anything else than what it is, and what is offered. There is the emphasis on coffee, plus what is often - by Jungian association - partnered with a decent cup of coffee: cakes. If you are not much of a coffee drinker, you are still cared for: do hot chocolates plus several kinds of frappes. As far as menus, this is simplicity at its best. Although there are flowers there which some people do buy, there is likely more retail made on the coffee by a wide margin. Highchairs are even provided for the littlest of tykes.

The selection of cakes is modest, and since there was not a menu per se it was all done on what was in the cabinet. The two that were there, from what was left were several lots of chocolate cake and one last piece of carrot cake. Suffice to say, a piece of each was ordered along with the coffee. The blend of coffee that is used is from Coffex. There was nothing about the coffee that could warrant a legitimate complaint or criticism; the cappuccino that I ordered was perfectly done. The cakes were moreish and delicious, plus looked really good - there was several kinds of edible decorations on the chocolate piece. The carrot piece tasted like it was freshly made as well. Both kinds had different types of flavour, which really helped to contrast and distinguish them.

On top of that all, the service is some of the friendliest and most personable. The owner was good-natured and constantly had a smile on his face plus exhibited a pleasant demeanour When it was time to bring out the orders, he brought out the entire selection: from both coffee & cake orders, to the niece's babycino, plus two lots of cream for the cakes, an extra espresso shot (my order), plus all the cutlery. This is all served on porcelain plates, in actual coffee cups and with metal cutlery; it is essentially all you could ask for in a good coffee shop. Topping it all off, on the side of the babycino he gave my niece a complimentary purple flower plus the babycino was on the house.

How it took so long to get here, I am not sure. It is essentially a great local, and a good find for great coffee to take people to. While it makes one of the finest cups of coffee that is available around the south, it is bolstered even higher by some of the most pleasant service. Everything about this place feels real and authentic. It is a pity that there are not more places like this, or that it is not in a place that would have more through-flow. Nevertheless, it gets a gold star in numerous aspects - great effort and job.

Got the meat share platter which was really lovely and perfect size for two. Only nitpick was that the food went cold quickly on the wooden platter (mild day), and side plates were a little small. Coffee comes from next door (in takeaway cups). Nice little outside area. Great coffee and food was really yum.

A little cafe/florist surrounded by flowers, interesting combination for a business but it works! And the ice coffee was very nice. We will go back again.
